Not a great experience using this estate agency. Lots of talk but not much action when needed, I never felt as though they had our best interests in mind. We rented a student house for 1 year and I would not recommend this to anyone I cared for greatly!
My experience with Nicholas Humphreys Northampton branch was good and hassle-free. In short, you keep your side of the bargain and they keep theirs. I rented via them and had no problems at all. Any minor issues were dealt with pragmatically and fairly. They were efficient in setting the tenancy up and similarly so in closing it down cleanly. In between times there were relatively few interactions. They have good friendly staff which is another plus.
From my personal experience, this letting agent is more suited to handle the general public rather than students. We have had nothing but trouble and little support with our landlord who liked to invite himself into the house and do botched maintenance jobs. This caused health issues around the house, such as major black mould, lights falling/hanging from the ceiling and floorboards being removed from outside of peoples bedrooms without warning. However, they did remain professional throughout the tenancy.
Michael and Matthew have exceeded all my expectations of a letting agency for me. They have taken care of everything in a friendly and professional manner. They offer a quality and competitively priced service and communication is great. Thank you so much. I can highly recommend them.
Easy to list my property with the team, they completed fantastic photography alongside extremely attentive customer service. Fair fees and property let quickly, I am now considering moving the management over to Humphreys.

I will never advice any one to use their service You will have a very hard time ..when it come to rent related issues and their communication is really bad Avoid them if possible and read any agreement given to you from them carefully.
Thanks for helping me find a new investment property and getting it let so soon. The process was stress free and conducted in a professional way.
