My visit to this store made an impression and will definitely make me avoid this Next and from the information gleaned from one member of staff the others as well. I went in looking to buy a suit for an upcoming event, I managed to find one suit jacket the right size 48 but not the trousers 42" so I went to the desk to ask for assistance, I asked if they had any other size 48 and explained that I would also like to try a size 50 jacket, the guy checked the computer and said they didn't have anything, and that they don't carry "EXTREME" sizes in store but I could order them. Now as far as I'm concerned a size 48-50 jacket shouldn't be classed as extreme that is basically saying sorry we don't have anything for the fat/obese/overweight, I mean half the people I see at the gym would be a similar frame if not bigger. I think from now on I will just avoid Next, why use a store that wants to insult or bodyshame its customers, I could have sworn in this day and age this was frowned upon. Oh to clarify the reason for avoiding all stores is that apparently the classification of "EXTREME sizes" is a company one, so they are as guilty as the assistant with no tact. Bye bye it certainly won't be the NEXT shop I visit.
The staff, when you can find them, there are not many, are lovely patient and extremely helpful. However, they all have issues with the internet system that Next have, it works, and then it won't work. I love their home and clothing lines, but it's time they changed their technology, and allow for the fact that many, many people like to get out and walk around stores in person,and do not want to buy on line. Everything they do is good value for money. I wish popular stores would realise how important it is for people to get out and about and have face to face contact with humans.
Went to have a browse and selected over £100 worth of bits and pieces. Queued at one till but lady said she was a subsidiary section and pointed to the right tills. It was a ghost town with not a member of staff in sight. No way of getting anyone’s attention. I left the items on the checkout n walked off. On way to ground floor I told a member of staff I was leaving as there wasn’t a staff member upstairs n she didn’t have a thing to say. Why bother to have a store if you don’t want to look after your customers? I popped into Dunelm on my way back and they had a meet and greet plus all tills up and running so they got my business and will do going forward!

Great customer service. Assistant searched system for petite dress in my size. Luckily one in stockroom, so I didn't have to order. Came away with two very pretty summer dresses. I am looking forward to wearing.
Max needs more training on the till, keep me waiting or for 15 mins. The shop is ok, but management needs to improve. Staff are definitely in short, only 1 staff on till and cloth are everywhere on the floor while 50% sales promotions are on.
The Costa upstairs is fairly nice. The shop itself sells: Lighting including bulbs, bedding, house accessories, kitchen ware and displays for furniture you can order online or through a sales assistant.
Pleasant store. Good stock and helpful staff.
Always good standard fashionable main stream clothes. Not cheap but neither expensive. Big selection of blue jeans styles and Tshirts. I've bought a couple of suits from Next Good fit and have a wide range of sizes & price points.
