Had the worst experience today. Went in looking for some advice, took them 5 minutes to even acknowledge me even though I was the only customer in the shop. When I was finally approached I told the girl that I needed a new pair of docs for my best friends wedding as the bridal party were all wearing docs at the reception. I tried to be friendly and initiated the conversation saying that the bride just bought new white docs etc. The response I got was 'look online' or take pictures and send them to her. No advice or questions or help whatsoever. I went in to buy a pair but left empty handed as I would rather visit another branch than buy them there. I said bye as I left and the cashier didn't even look up from the till. Very disappointing.
Went into the Chelmsford store today and was served by Rachel and another member of staff. Both were extremely professional and Rachel was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the brand. I would highly recommend going into this store as it's so important to keep outlets as it's nice to see the products and get expert advise.
Not only did the very lovely sarah help me out trying to track down a beautiful cheery vegan boot over the phone, but she remembered me when i went in and was super attentive! She could see the pain in my eyes, as my christmas gift dm’s were just too shy of my big oofers, and alas not a single pair across the land in my size to exchange for! She was patient and offered many alternatives with honest advice and a get out of vegan free card without judgement if i chose a non vegan boot to exchange! Everyone was lovely and despite being very busy, we felt well looked after and there was a lovely chill vibe all round! Came out with gorgeous pair in exchange and a very happy customer! Many thanks!!
Great customer service, plenty of knowledge amongst the staff and of course the product is fantastic. These are shoes/boots built to last with the appropriate care and of course will always be in style.
Today I've been to Bond Street store and a tall, thick girl with a green jumpsuit, afro hair, working as sales advisor, made me feel so uncomfortable! I was simply asking for a pair of new dr martens and with a very lazy attitude she was pretending to not understand what i was looking for and then she barely went to check for the size. I felt completely uncomfortable and i had this bad feeling like she didn't want me to ask her anything. When i tried the shoes and the size unfortunately didn't fit and she was saying " i don't know what to say if the size i gave you doesn't fit" in a rude way...... maybe offering me an alternative would have been nice? Are those sales advisor you employ supposed to sell or invite people to leave? After 10 minutes of pure embarassment, a nice sales advisor a young blond guy took over and help me to find what i was looking for, while she was rolling her eyes with another colleague. At that point, despite the kindness of the blond guy and my need of those new shoes for the weekend, i couldn't resist to leave the store ASAP and write the review she deserve! Good luck with the store target with those kind of employees, i ll never go back anymore !
Once again Google maps asks for a review of a business location I have never stepped into. I don't dislike the company but have not needed to buy their product for many a year. What I do get kissed off with is the inability of Google to tighten up the GPS location and expecting me to fill out a review when at best all I did was walk past the premises. So, Google - Sort your tech out. Dr Martin's- complain to Google maps about this, and if you want me to leave you a more positive review, invite me in with some sort of incentive personal to me. Cheers!
Went into the Dr. Martens store in Chelmsford today received superb service and came out with a pair of boots, I have never had a pair of DMs before and the assistant that served me was great, no pushing me to buy just helping me pick the right pair. Would recommend to anyone.
Huge thank you to the staff for helping my very nervous teen to find exactly what she wanted in the size she needed. The girl that served us was patient and beyond helpful. Amazing service thank you thank you thank you !!!!!
Exellent service by the staff there in bond Street just brought a pair of dm,s I tried 2 sizes on and walked around which he suggested. Good stuff Very helpful friendly staff not pushy absolute pro,s well done lads
