On a short break to Newquay and tore a hamstring whilst getting in some much needed training on holidays. Kate accommodated me at a few hours notice. Kate has a really lovely personality, is extremely friendly, and has a lovely way of delivering bad news! She got to the core of the issue within minutes, and was able to provide some early relief. I have sadly attended a variety of physios over the years, and I have to say Kate was really top drawer. She gave me the most comprehensive A to Z of the problem that i have ever had, and I felt walking away that I was really on top of the issue, what had caused it, what was now needed, what I could/couldn’t do, things to be careful of, things to watch out for, and expected next steps in my recovery & training process. I would recommend Kate without a second’s hesitation, and without doubt would continue using her if I lived locally.

I had a pain in my shoulder that had lasted for around 3 weeks. It was a constant dull ache that kept me awake most nights. I gave Kate a call and she managed to squeeze me in at really short notice. After spending a while diagnosing what the issue probably was, she spoke to me about treatment options which included acupuncture - something that I really hadn't considered or that I even really believed in. Being at the end of my tether with the constant pain, I was more than happy to try anything, soo I gave it a go. Kate was massively reassuring about it, very gentle too. I literally didn't feel a thing. One of the issues adding to the shoulder pain was a constant neck pain that went into the back of my head when I turned my head to the side. This disappeared instantly. Immediately after the session I did notice a small overall improvement, and had no soreness associated with the needles at all. I slept very well that night. The next day was better, then the next to the point where I am now completely better about 7 days on. I will most definitely head back to Kate to fix whatever my aging body decides to throw at me next! Massive thank you!!!!!

During a short break to Cornwall I was in real pain, unable to really sleep, struggling to walk comfortably and even sitting down was a challenge. Kate was able to fit me in at very short notice. She quickly diagnosed my problem, carried out some treatment and then explained it in terms even I understood. She came up with a plan to help me manage and minimise my back issues. My remaining days in Cornwall were very different. I was sleeping, sitting, walking all without a problem. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Kate’s help. If I didn’t live so far away, I would definitely continue to see Kate. Her genuinely friendly, caring and knowledgeable manner made the whole experience a pleasure.

Had 3 sessions and from my first session was very happy with how professional Kate was with her initial assessment and the treatment to follow was excellent 10/10, I would be happy to recommend her to anyone.

I was really impressed with the level of care at Newquay Physiotherapy. After just one session i could feel a real difference in pain levels to my injured ankle. Kate put my mind at ease, diagnosed and treated my ankle. Her treatment room provides a very calm space. Many thanks, I highly recommend her service.
