I have had a number of pieces framed by the team at the Newgate Gallery, all of which I have been very happy with.  The combination of really enthusiastic, friendly staff and excellent craftsmanship delivered in a timely fashion has meant I look no further than Newgate whenever I need anything framing.  Thanks for always ensuring my artwork is looked after and presented in a way that does it justice.

We had an emergency--I needed a print by Sir Peter Blake framed overnight so that it could be on display at the book launch for The Really Quite Good British Cookbook the next evening. A quick call to the gallery and I dropped it over at 4pm. Had an email at 9.30am the next morning so say it was ready to go. A wonderful job, with no hassle or extra price for the turnaround. They were wonderful guys and I'd highly, highly recommend them for the quality of the work, the attitude and the pricing.

i have been using the Newgate Gallery for some years, and I have been invariably pleased with their service.  They are friendly and helpful, ready to make suggestions about what frame or background to use, but without in any way being prescriptive, and produce the work with a very quick turnaround. Brilliant experience, value for money pricing, dealt with two different members of staff one once I dropped the item off and one when I picked the art up after its framing. Both were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend these guys to friends or family looking for a gallery / art framers.

I used to get pictures framed here when I lived in N1 and recently I needed a few things framed and, although I now live in SE London I still work near the gallery, I went back to Newgate as I knew they were reliable, fairly priced, good with advice and generally very nice people to do business with. I wasn't disappointed - quality, craftsmanship and service as good as ever. Very happy and will go back.

I recently used Newgate Gallery for the second time. Very good experience on both occasions. This second time they had to get in the framing material specially - it needed to match other items I had got framed elsewhere - but this wasn’t seen as being a problem. They did an excellent job very quickly.  Just one small comment: at the same time as the above framing job I got something else framed by Fletcher’s. Another excellent framer. They thoughtfully include a hook and pins. Might Newgate Gallery also consider doing this?  Janet Pilch
