Great fun. Children love it but for adults as well. Lovely small theatre with great views of the stage from any off the seated areas. Loved the show 100%, well  done to all of the cast! Staging also impressive. 10 out of 10 for a full evening's entertainment.

Lovely theatre, although not very accessible with pushchairs  understandable as it is an old building. Staff are nonetheless very accommodating and helpful. Seating is comfortable. Great range of performances.

Went to Wizard of Oz with the family. I had never been to the New Theatre Royal before and really enjoyed the show and the old-school feel of the building. The staff were lovely and really helpful. Prices for food and drinks were good.

Great atmosphere and they always put on a good show.  Please bear in mind that the waiting areas can be quite tight if it's a sold out show, never struggled to get a drink though.  Also being the original seats they are very narrow so if you're a bigger build you may struggle to sit comfortably.

Beautiful historic theatre, being 6ft and on the heavy side the seats are abit on the snug side but this won't put me off seeing other shows in the future.

Cinderella the panto. I took the youngest Grandchild but wished I'd taken the older ones so have booked again. Just brilliant! Camp, enjoyed by smaller kids but so much for adults. Older girls are 15 and 17 and they will love it.  Like a comedy sketch throughout. Ru Paul at Christmas. The best Christmas show  panto ever. Great chemistry between participants and audience

Fabulous staff so helpful friendly and funny. Had a wonderful evenings entertainment from Ceri dupree, who was as ever fantastic. A lovely place to see a show.

Absolutely wonderful venue, beautiful and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and polite. Their Christmas pantos are well worth the money, we've had a wonderful time the past two Christmases and will continue to make New Theatre Royal a part of our Christmas tradition.

Lovely old theatre, great atmosphere and they have some superb entertainment on !. We have seen recently...The illegal Eagles, The Christians, The Pink Floyd Experience and most recently The Ultimate Cold Play! All excellent musicians and a cracking good night. We will soon be back I'm sure.

Really enjoyed the evening watching Lee Memphis as Elvis. It was first time visiting the theatre, it's lovely inside with plenty of original features. We were sat upstairs in the circle we had a brilliant view of the stage but for my husband there wasn't a lot of leg room. If you're tall or got long legs the circle is not for you, great evening, the staff are really. Looking forward to our next evening there
