Really enjoyed my first experience at New Theatre Royal, very friendly staff, knowledgeable CEO and great performance of TESS by Ockham's Razor . Blown away by the circus skills.
A QUEEN tribute band. The band was excellent, though the engineer turned up in the second set ,and we all could hear the lyrics ,way up to the top. Top balcony very hot. Theatre staff on top of their rolls. All good
We went to watch our daughters uni show American Idiot. Great Venue, intimate setting. Beautiful architecture & of course, great show.
Lovely theatre with exceptional staff. Easy parking near by. Saw the dolly show . Well managed. Ample loos and comfy seats , what more do you need.
Quite liked my experience here, I saw the American Idiot musical and very much enjoyed it also nice to see the continued adoption of the new lyrics to the title track. Very good actors and musicians as well as a well done set and from what I can tell skilled stage hands. I don't see a massive amount of things in the theater but I could see myself coming back here if I see anything that peaks my interest.
Beautiful theatre very attentive staff
Beautiful faded grandeur. Acoustics were fantastic for the concert we went to see. £4 for a small ice cream tub was rather expensive.
Lovely little theatre with lots of food/ drink options before your show inside and out. Needs some TLC in parts. My daughter lived Twirlywoos!
Been here just the once and I can’t wait to go again in a couple of weeks. A beautiful theatre with lots going on. Support your local theatre you’ll not be disappointed, staff very helpful
Nice atmospheric theatre. Seats are fairly roomy. The Kings Theatre and Guildhall are nicer venues but the New Theatre Royal is a great place for the smaller shows.
