Poor customer service. Asking a 20 and 21 for ID for an age 15 film absolutely shocking. You people need to gage ages a bit more better. Unfortunately we don’t bring if as we wasn’t expected to be asked .. I’m 43 and surprised you didn’t ask me too. Won’t be wasting my time coming here again. Plenty more cinemas around.
We went to watch the new Alien film last night. I used the Odeon app to order the tickets for £5 each on opening night which was great. Parking at Port Solent is free and it gives you easy access to the cinema. You can order food on the app but we ordered at the counter. Showed the tickets on my phone via the app and they were scanned and we were pointed to which screen for the showing. The staff were helpful and friendly and the place was nice and clean including the cinema itself.
What's with the air conditioning, screen 4 is like a walk in fridge after 5 mins... Get the idea it keeps the equipment running better but at what cost to customers, may as well had a ice coffee in there, heating or limit the air conditioning to where it's needed, I I'm sure many would say it's too cold
Great selection of movies, large seats, very comfortable lots of leg room. Good range of snacks and drinks, clean toilets, and free parking. The only downside was that we had to sit through 30 mins of adverts from the supposed movie start time. Went again today, and the heater wasn't working in screen 1, so we were offered a refund if it was too cold. However, it was fine, so we watched the whole movie, and what a nice touch on the customer service side.
Cheaper when booked online. Have been visiting the Odeon for 7 years now. There is free parking and good waterside view. It's not a very busy place. Nice going there with children.
Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. The cinema screen I was in was a great size, and sound was fantastic. There was plenty of space in the seats. Prices of the snacks is the only issue, but that’s the same at all cinemas.
I visited today I liked it as its nice a quiet, but one thing I really dislike is the menu board switching screen every like min or less! I have a brain injury and can't seem to deal with the menu switching constantly to different screens, i can't read it on time and was over stimulating , there was no paper menu as I did ask. Just somthing to consider please
The Cinema is in an ideal location at Port Solent as there is free parking, and plenty of restaurants to choose from should you want to go for some food before or after your movie. The cinema is clean and well maintained with a good selection of snacks, drinks, sweets and ice-cream - although the prices are astronomical, so I thoroughly recommend buying your own food in advance! Also, book online in advance for the cheapest ticket prices
First time and certainly not the last time of visiting this incredible cinema. Staff friendly and polite. Great atmosphere; good storyline for the film and comfortable seating. Only small thing is that a bit of air freshener for the screen 2 would be helpful.
Our first time visiting this cinema as a birthday treat. Adam was so helpful and went above and beyond to be helpful. Excellent customer services from Adam Date visited: 7th July. 20.50 showing of One Day
