New Overhulton Tandoori

Been going to these guys for the past 8 years and they decided to drop the donner box. The flavour of the donner was bang on. Deffo getting the box meal again.

I tried the lamb tikka box meals. Wow it was full of flavour and worth the money. Defo give it a try guys you won't be disappointed.

The food was genuinely horrible. I bought the Tandoori Mixed Grill and it was foul, for £12 all you get is a hard chicken leg, a bit of sheek kebab, and a few tasteless, hard blocks of meat with some onion... It makes me wonder if this is the same place talked about in the reviews. I also got some garlic chicken, and that was equally bad. It was so bad that it makes me wonder if the reviews for this place have been manipulated in some way; because my experience definitely doesn't match up to what the review score for this place led me to expect. I spent over £18 in all and not only was the food awful, but the portions were pathetic. A single order of chow Mein from a Chinese costing £6 would have been equally as filling. I'm serious when I say that, with no exaggeration. So all in all, overpriced terrible food. The only good thing was the delivery time.

Really terrific curries. One of the few places local to us that does paneer as an option for most their curries which is a great vegetarian option. We particularly like the massala but we've tried a lot of different options and enjoyed every single one. Likewise the sides/ sundries. I especially like the parathas, my partner enjoys the bhajis and naans. Can't say enough good things about the food. No issues with delivery times/ customer service in our many orders either. My one request is they look at price paid on UberEats Vs their own site/ app if they want people to order direct as they've asked me to do a couple of times. UE typically do at least 20% off through promos it was actually 50% briefly earlier this year. I would prefer to buy direct but the 20%+ premium to do so is a lot.

Ordered what I always choose, a South Indian garlic curry. Ingredients obviously fresh and the dish was just the right level of spicy. Nice to not be disappointed / underwhelmed for once so I thought I’d leave a review!

Curry was tastless onion chuckney was bland boring, chapati shockingly small and then the samosas was size of a custard cream ! no free popdams on the house completely not intrested in customer service so for me i won't be ordering again because it simply wasn't worth the cost !

One of the best takeaway in town. My family have been ordering from this establishment for many years. Its one of the best takeaways we have come across.The food here is always fresh. U know they are using high quality fresh produce. The lamb is so fresh and tender I cart complain. The chicken is also fresh and cooked to perfection just how I like it. Nice and juicy. Non of that frozen dried stuff u get elsewhere. The team there are very friendly. It's an open kitchen, very clean. You can even see the chefs cooking ur food. Bonus point is there's no miserable chefs everyone is smiling cooking with passion. The head chef is always greeting and welcoming customers whilst he's on the stove. alongside the excellent service we receive from the guys in the front. These guys have pride and quality in them. If you don't no what to order ask the guys they can always recommend a dish that will satisfy your taste buds.If you haven't ordered from here ur missing out. My favourite dish is Alloo Ghost with egg fried rice and supreme nan. Also the keema Jalferzi is another mouthwatering dish.

NOT ABOUT TAKEAWAY THE CHICKEN JALFREZI IS A LITTLE TOO HOT HERE BUT THE MADRAS IS DYNAMITE I CANNOT TELL YOU OF THE POPPADOMS OR ANYTHING I DID NOT TRY THEM BUT I KNOW THE MANGO CHUTNEY AND ONION NICE. B.B.
