Fine. Bar staff were nice. Beer range is poor. Appreciate them adding Neck Oil but still living in the past. Only two spiced rums. Didn't eat but menu looked good. Guinness was 'extra cold', which is a bad sign. Edit: dropping the rating after the gaffer decided to pop on here to call me a liar.

Great place for food, great place for a drink at the bar with your mates, got darts board, sky and bt sports, quiz on Sundays and poker on Mondays, often got entertainment on Fridays… there’s a bit of something for everyone at this pub. Looks clean inside and out, got a bit of wear and tear but it’s clearly an old building and the staff care about it a lot. Gaffer’s sound and a good laugh.

Nice pub, friendly staff, quick service and well priced. Would recommend. Cracking pint of Guinness.

Inside was very nice and the food was lovely.The people were really friendly.Really recommend the dipping doughnuts from the kid’s menu and the chicken strips are delicious and crunchy and fish and chips spot on.

Very disappointed we had 2 meals on 19 3rd 23..1 meal was ok second was dry and horid I left the plate full of untouched food on the table and carried on with our drinks hoping bar staff would notice the food that was clearly untouched and ask us if all was okay...BUT NO The plate full of UNTOUCHED FOOD sat on our table for over an hour ⏳EVENTUALLY A GUY FROM behind the Bar SNACHED THE PLATE from our table And Ran‍ as fast as possible into the back with the plate of untouched food WITHOUT SAYING A SINGLE WORD to me or my partner NO THANKS NO WAS FOOD OKAY? NO THANKS FOR YOUR CUSTOM ETC HE OVS KNEW THE FOOD WAS AWFULL and did not want to rectify the situation wow you Brits are Hot on customer relations , NOT

Fantastic. Food is always quick hot and fresh and Stacey provides great service. Nothing is too much trouble for her and it's a lovely affordable meal out

Nice find. Camping in the area and fancied a pub meal. Googled local and found here. Food quality nice and good sized portion. Prices good and reasonable. Ale was well kept. Made to feel welcome by the gentleman on bar. And even passed on local knowledge for reference. Good experience and just the right food for the right time for us personally.

Pleasant surrounding indoor and outdoor, good value for money, attentive staff, good wine and beer choices and food was delicious, all in all a good local pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Well done to the Landlord Sam and his team

Come in from out of town looking for somewhere to play darts. Some locals were very welcoming and we played a bunch of games. Won some lost some.

It was busy and loud in here tonight and possibly every Friday. A good selection of gin and vodka drinks. Slow service at times due to how busy it was. Can get rowdy and not sure how much SD is going on
