Food was very good, had to pay for delivery to Devon Valley Holiday Village, but didn't mind that. Food arrived piping hot by a very courteous taxi driver in record time, The Golden Crown rang me, to let me know when the driver was leaving and how long he would be. Which was a nice thing to do. Overall a very good experience.
Definitely turned a corner. We live opposite but still used to go town because the food wasn't good. Recently, so much fresher, better ingredients. A great Chinese!
£31 for 3 mains and chips. Shredded beef wasn't crispy and was bland. Not worth 31 pounds at all.
Excellent meal: delicious sauces, lots of tender meat and generous portions. Ignore the review which says they don’t do duck or prawn dishes - the cantonese sweet & sour king prawns were superb, with a sauce which wasn’t over sweetened. The pancake rolls and special chow mein were the best we’ve ever had. Definitely the best in Teignmouth.
Deep fried Chilli beef and a pancake roll just to check the place out. Well I couldn’t taste no chilli nor was the beef crispy. The sauce was so sweet it was sickly. Pancake roll was well full of bean sprouts and had 2 prawns inside and some strips of plastic ham. Will not be needing the menus for another day what a huge disappointment. Maybe I’m just fussy
Yummy! First time experiencing this take away. A warm welcome from Kitty, knowledgable about their dishes, having eaten five dishes across two evenings was not disappointed! Can certainly recommend the special curry, egg fried rice, fried chilli chicken Kung po, & duck, green peppers in the black bean sauce, seriously delicious and generous. We will definitely be back next time we are in Teignmouth. 100% recommend.
Food is amazing here, it's always fresh.
