I order delivery regularly via beyondmenu. Food is standard Chinese fare, but what I REALLY appreciate is 1 Their delivery is *consistently* prompt and courteous, and 2 They accommodate the requests I type in - including replacing the chicken with tofu. Very cool of them to do that. Food: 4/5

This place was impeccable. everything from the service to the decor was on point. When walking in I thought that the food would make me need to use the toilet for 3 hours straight but when I walked in I felt this strange aura as if God himself was trying to give me a sign that this restaurant will wash me of my sins and boy, that’s what I experienced alright! When the server spoke to me, I started blushing and thought he was the most gorgeous person I’ve ever seen. Even though I have a girlfriendobviously, I went straight ahead and dumped her right then and there. When I stuffed my mouth with the food, it felt like fireworks exploded and melted in my mouth. It was just soooo good that it surpassed every restaurant I’ve ever went to in my life. I’d literally give up my children in order to just have a nibble of the food again. The only downside to this place would be that I can’t ever go to any other restaurant again because they can’t even begin to match the pure satisfaction of just being in the presence of these amazing, good-looking chefs. If I could, I would rate this infinite stars since this place was sent down from God himself. It’s as if the angels came together to lead me to this wonderful place. This is truly the second Garden Of Eden. I believe this is truly the place pure hearted people go when they die. Now I gotta finish this review before my dad comes home to beat me again cause my mom just cheated and he needs someone to let his anger out so byeeeeeee!!!!!

Great food, my family go to for take out. I have not had one item from the menu that I did not enjoy. I always try new things, looking forward to trying a lot more. I definitely would recommend.  Kid-friendliness: Fries and nuggets doesn’t get more kid friendly than that. Great price too !

Just moved to the area and was looking for a new chinese place. Honestly I'm shocked at how glowing the reviews are overall. Everything was very cheap. The tempura tastes odd. Their sugar doughnuts are quite literally just Pillsbury Grands Biscuits fried up into balls and covered in sugar gross.  Prices are fine, but I wouldn't order again. I'd rather pay a little extra and know my food is going to be quality and not have every shortcut possible taken to save money on their end.

I went here once and saw a rat. Seems in line with some other reviews here. Don't come here. They tried to deny that there was a rat and said "if you don't like food then leave" what a jokeFood: 1/5

ordered food for my family only to open one of the entrees and find a bug inside, the establishment was contacted and we were told we would be reimbursed 8$… they were very rude and terrible customer service!! They were told about the review and we were told so what it’s our first bad one, nasty, nasty, nasty!!! Bugs are not ok….7/18/24 Don’t eat here.. also I’m calling the health department!!!

This is one of the best Chinese places, in my opinion, in CT. I've stopped by innumerable Chinese stores in NL, Fairfield, and Hartford County Will admit to not having tried places elsewhere in other counties yet but will admit a personal goal of trying as many places for their General Tso's and Boneless Ribs as possible.. and this particular store in New London and one other are the only two I go to on a consistent basis. Food here is made quickly too!  As a lover of boneless ribs - I freakin' love China Express'. Only place in a 30 mile radius that has had them the way I *personally*  like them - sauce that's thick and rich, and the right texture for the pork where it isn't too touch to bite. Having consumed about half their menu already, I'm still going to always go for their General Tso / Fried Rice combo with Wonton Soup. The chicken cooked right and sauced generously. Did I mention the gloriously thick sauce used? Get the Lunch Combo asap, now.  On a side note, yeah, I love the location and atmosphere. Something about a side entrance and the store looking like it's closed but really isn't with the old-school menu and very nice people behind the counter; I unironically come in here with a smile because this place checks off nearly every box of what tasty, well priced, and well made Chinese food here in the NE area should be.
