One of the best Northern style Chinese food in London. Very authentic taste - recommend the skewers beef tendon is great, pork trotters, pig intestines etc... I have dined both in-store and via Deliveroo, and the quality and portions are consistently good. Karaoke is also a great experience for group parties. I would say to ignore the 1* reviews from people who order from the 'basic' menu I think if they ate at a restaurant in China they cannot appreciate the authentic taste. For them I recommend standard UK-style takeaways which have modified Chinese dishes to match western tastes. Sanbao kitchen is for those who are looking for truly Northern Chinese food experience. Highly recommend!
One of the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted in London. Poor quality and tasteless noodles. We ordered prawn stir-fry, there were four prawns in the mix. No other veg apart from onions. We also ordered two soups - chicken and sweetcorn, crab meat soup. Both were not edible. Tasted off and portions were very small. Had a portion of prawn crackers, quite generous portion. They gave us a bag full of but they were soaked in oil. All in all it was a horrible experience. Please avoid at all cost.
My friends and I had karaoke night at Sanbao and it was extremely fun! The song selection was decent and the service was quite good. I thought the chives pancake and seafood chow mein were very average. The price was reasonable at £40 for two people. I would go again as the karaoke was so much fun.
I have been coming here for many years. It's aways a hot spot for Chinese students around west London. The food are tasty, the location is great. I really like the roast mutton skewers. After lunch or dinner, you can easily walk to Chiswick along King Street, very relaxing!Food: 5/5
Authentic Northern style chinese restaurant and they have a karaoke room located in the baseball which can host up to 18 people! Free I think if you spend £130... easily done here if you have a big group. My gf can speak Manderin, so it was super helpful but otherwise, you still get the same menu and quality of food. Food is tasty though, but a little pricey, as expected with authentic Chinese places. Also, if people are using the karaoke room, you might hear them singing... very well or plain awful
A very surprised discovery - authentic and appetising Chinese foods. I particularly like the cumin lamb skewers and the fried leek dumplings. Some reviewers mentioned the hygiene issue. I couldn’t comment on that as I didn’t notice any problems.
Authentic Northern Chinese food. This is not your local Chinese cuisine. Portions was generously big, great value for what it is. Tasty food full of flavour. Recommended for spicy food lovers. Also has hotpot, barbecue meats and a'lacarte.
TERRIBLE CHINESE - AVOID Food was so incredibly bland, lowest quality ingredients and barely any meat veg in fried rice and noodles. Literally ZERO SEASONING. on top of it, they got the order wrong and there was major communication and service issues. Price way too high for the bad food it is. Dont go here even if you're starving its just not worth the money in any way.
The Malaxiangguo was really delicious. It was quite expensive 60 for 2 people but really tasty! I'd recommend the malaxiangguo and the skewers!Food: 5/5
Amazing. Very friendly staff and my wife was able to ask and speak to the lady in Chinese which made her ordering her meal a lot better. When we visit London again we will definitely visit here againFood: 5/5
