A decent pub in the city centre. Was pretty quiet during the times we went in, plenty of seats available. Staff are all friendly and helpful towards us. Decent prices for the drinks & food available. Would recommend if you're looking for a quiet pub space.
I visited the Nether Inn on Saturday night and it was fantastic. The team were brilliant and it was super quick service even though it was very busy. There was a DJ on and the atmosphere was brilliant. Loads of sports viewing with football, rugby and boxing all on the tvs. Will definitely be back soon!
By pure happenstance we wandered in for a pint and a bite and ended up with the cauliflower and some hot wings with black garlic. Excellent. In the condiment tray were mayo and tomato ketchup each proudly proclaiming to have been made by Amy. Both were Amazing. Imagine ketchup that tastes of tomatoes and mayo that is so light, yet flavourful it makes the store bought stuff seem like the shyte brickies use to hold walls together. Amy; you are a Goddess!
Friendly vibrant atmosphere with good service on a busy Saturday night. Tunes were decent and helped give the place a good party vibe. Was defo one of the better places we visited on a recent trip to Dundee.
Went in for drinks last week when my parents came up to visit, went back at the weekend as I liked the vibes of the place, was a very busy bar but the service was fast and friendly, and the DJ was a nice touch alongside the boxing. Would rate it 6* if I could. My new local!
We had booked a table here but when we arrived the barmaid Taiya informed us that unfortunately the kitchen was closed, much to our disappointment then the barman said he was kitchen trained and as we had booked if we wanted he would cook food for us. Please can we say a big shout out to Ryan who cooked our lovely food and Taiya and Adam for our service and we are appreciative of the hospitality given to us and the impression made for our first time visit to your welcoming pub. Thanks again Fran, Lin, Joyce and Mary.
Great venue, we are an older generation but made welcome by the bar staff. Great service it is a students haunt but great atmosphere. unfortunately, this was marred by the arrival of the manager who was abrupt and rude and created a situation at the far end of the bar. No need for his manner whatsoever
Came for a cheeky Friday night drink and had an absolute ball! Ryan and Taiya behind the bar were unreal. The shots and doubles were flowing. Top tunes! Deffo would hit up if you’re in Dundee!
Good atmosphere for the rugby. Wee snack and a good few pints down. Chris and the bar staff as good as always.
Works night out, Justin was amazing behind the bar, served our drinks fast and was friendly. 5 stars!
