Story

Finalists for Scottish Italian Awards 2015 Best Pizzeria & Best Restaurant, we offer the best in Scottish & Italian produce.

Pizzas are cooked fresh to order using our Woodstone Pizza Oven - whilst our Josper bbq grill cooks steaks and grills to perfection.

We host a monthly 'Not Just a Gin Club' event (@citysquareginclub ), run Cocktail Masterclasses and have a Private Dining Room that's great for Birthdays, Anniversaries and other functions.

A special menu is available for younger guests, plus we have plenty of different offers available throughout the year!

Outside there is a 70+ cover seating area looking onto the city centre square, so it's a perfect lunch time spot for a sharing board and glass of Prosecco al fresco style!

We called quite late to book, the tables in the restaurant we're all gone we were told but we could be seated in the bar. That's fine for us as we'd seen the menu and wanted to try the food. Got there and they actually managed to get us a table in the restaurant which was a great start. It continued to get better when the food arrived. We both had meat calzone; it is to die for, just amazing flavours in each and every bite and while it looks like a lot of rocket accompanies it, it's actually a great amount to really balance the meat. Great variety in the dessert menu, there will be something to suit everyone. My partner had the sticky toffee pudding which he described as melts in the mouth delicious. I had the tiramisu cheesecake which was exactly as it sounds tiramisu + cheesecake base = heaven on a plate.

Delicious food and really friendly staff. My mum is gluten intolerant and the waiter took his time to go over the menu and explain what her best choices were - and pretty much knew what was in each dish off the top of his head! Very knowledgeable and impressive. A lovely warm atmosphere. Fair prices. Highly recommended.

What a lovely place. Been a few times and it never disappoints. Food is great and staff are very attentive and friendly.

Food was excellent, we had the pork chops and Tuscan sausage carbonara, followed by the chocolate cheesecake. Very generous portions. Had some nice beers too- a Brewdog Dead Pony Club. Quite big and airy in design, not v cosy.
