Such a cute, eye-catching, and feel good cafe located just outside kew garden station. There’s something so special and unique about this place… They offer a good selection of warm drinks, pastries, desserts, and hot Japanese food. The tempura udon was so delicious. The noodles had a beautiful texture and the tempura was fried to perfection! Will definitely be back

Delightful small local Japanese café run by a friendly team and always-smiling eponymous owner. There’s a grand piano that’s used in the various classical and Jazz concerts that they have every couple of weeks. The acoustic is good and and the intimate concerts are a highlight for me in this area. Coffee is good, from a small producer, I think. Western pastries and some nice home-made Japanese cakes. There are noodles, sushi bowls and Bento. I think the lunch box is intended to be a Lovely Assortment of Things rather than to fill up starving tourists ;  Well worth crossing over the station for.

Ver cute cafe I stumbled across when I got out of the station last night. I arrived early then expected, friend hasn’t arrived and it started raining.  First thing to note is that there’s no waiter to sit you down, just find a seat yourself and go to the counter to order when you’re ready.  I got the prawn tempura udon, was the best udon I had so far and so soothing to eat on a cold rainy night. Flavour totally suit my taste buds, perfect saltiness and spiciness. Chewy udon, crispy prawn. Comes with a bottle of seven spice as well, would recommend adding some for extra kick. Lunch menu looked very good too, would definitely revisit. !

Finished half marathon and had lunch here, a friendly and cozy Japanese cafe with good selection of udon/soba, rice ball, miso soup and drinks. Kind of home made vibe and taste, simple and yet comfy, needed all the pickles, warm soups and hot tea after a big run

What a gem we found! It’s such a nice cafe, authentic Japanese food and desserts in a lovely cafe. Superb services too. The tempura udon is so so so good. Don’t miss it if you are in Kew!

Customer service is excellent. There was a lovely lady working there! I ordered an iced matcha latte and jasmine tea. The matcha latte was not sickly sweet and it was just right like the Japanese way. One lady even gave me a free complimentary biscuit. If you are fan of japanese drinks I would HIGHLY recommend. One of the best and you won't regret it :

Very relaxing space, easygoing staff. Quite varied items on the menu, average tasting lunch special - rice dish. Need only a few touches to deserve five stars.

Brought back wonderful memories of living in Japan. Delicious food in a lovely setting. Service was welcoming and patient even though they were very busy and receiving constant requests from people wanting things not on the menu! Will definitely come back if we're ever in the area and recommend.
