A great afternoon, great coffee and tasty mince pie. Located in a area that needs a parking disc though so if new to area please be aware of this as they do fine for not displaying disc.Food: 5/5
Rude staff, I was served a coffee which was dragged over the counter where there was either chocolate or cinnamon powder and as I didn’t want it smudging anywhere I asked for a tissue. Hannah, who worked there made a comment on whether I was drinking the coffee from the bottom of the cup. Very poor and rude customer service, when I asked if she said something her attitude was rude - need to be trained on customer service and politeness.
This Costa is a nice coffee stop. It's quite large inside and, being near a garrison town and in a market town, usually quite busy. It's bright and clean inside and the staff are very friendly and helpful - well, it is Yorkshire. The exterior of the building looks historic but inside it's modern Costa.
Not much to say really, one Costa is the same as another! Nice coffee, but not a lot of choice for vegans; unfortunately, much the same as other high street coffee shops.
Normal Costa style and service, walked around Richmond to find a decent place for a coffee, the 'traditional' cafe's were all a bit naff. You know where you are and what you get with Costa. No complaints at all, and the warm mince pies were delicious.
Always great service and great coffee.
This place was good at first. I went there all the time. After a while I started to notice how unprofessional the workers were . These young women were not helpful or good at communicating with any customer. I ordered a chocolate Frostino with a Carmel chocolate muffin. The young women said okay and charged me a whole £5 for it. After I got my Frostino I just stood there and they weren’t bringing my muffin so I said “hey I ordered a muffin”. The young women at the register said “sorry you didn’t order one you ordered a frostino with Carmel not a muffin”. The women said she could order me one but I aint paying for one I just spent £5 on a frostino with ‘Carmel’ in. I just walked away I didn’t want to argue. When I got back , I tried my frostino I couldn't taste any Carmel. I would not recommend you go here unless your wanted to spend more money then you would at any other costa!
Excellent coffee shop, very pleasant friendly staff, always know what we want because we go in several times a week. Consistently good coffee, much better than a lot of other Costas. We have had very disappointing coffees in others, never at Richmond. Well done! !!
Young staff behind the counter are more interested in talking amongst themselves than showing your customers attention. Might be why the drink was wrong and they missed one off.
The staff are welcoming and friendly, the cafe is clean and there is usually space to sit. In the winter we buy the black forrest hot chocolate. Unfortunately. The keep serving it with cream even though we ask for non which then is wasted. Or pour on extra unwanted cherry syrup on to a different hot chocolate ruining the taste. Its not just the one store but happens regularly. Otherwise their stores are good and friendly.
