For a car park, contrary to other reviews this is actually quite a nice setup. As clean as you would expect, plenty of spaces but they a bit tight but there were plenty spare so if you have a wider car then park further up the building. You can come out of the 4th floor then down the side of Thames Tower for easy/quick access direct to the station. I believe there is an equal amount of outside from car park to station as the station car park itself but this is £4.30 cheaper for my typical period of 7-1800 so well worth it, via pre booking. You can pre book online easily and you get a QR code for entry which makes it easy. People are happy to park BMW i8’s in this car park therefore in my view, it’s as secure as you can get in a public car park.
Never thought I would find myself leaving a review for a car park but the poor quality of this one vs the price inspired me. Tiny spaces and ramps, broken exit / entrance doors, empty beers bottles in stair wells - all of which smell of piss and look like the toilet from that scene in Trainspotting. Plus if you end up parking on floor 5 good luck if you have a push chair or pram as the lift doesn't stop on this floor... if they charged a lot less then no problems but as they seem happy to have your pants down on the price I would expect better.
Very tight corners and smells of wee. Exactly what you'd want from a car park. Maybe could be improved by not costing your first born child to park here for a few hours.
With how expensive this car park is you would think it was kept well....nope. It always smells of urine and at least one of the ticket machine at any given time is out of order. Given its location, unless your commuting I would avoid.
Dirty with more than just the smell of urine found human excrement at the base of the stairwell. Never a member of staff available to speak to if you have a problem increasing number of spaces restricted for parking for people who have paid a premium or traffic cones randomly dispersed in spaces for no apparent reason no repairs are carried out before the cone is removed. Avoid if possible as extremely expensive oracle parking a much better option
I hear they're demolishing this dump. good! It's over expensive. Dirty. Poorly maintained. The alarm in the lift didn't work and had a sign with numbers to call. What if your phone was out of power? That's a death trap! If these were flats you'd call the owner a slum-lord. Avoid this place while it lasts.
The only good thing about it is location, great view of the train station and close to shops. Price is horrible. Paid £12 just for about 3 hours. Most expensive in Reading, surely.
With odd sized parking spaces and queues to pay for your ticket you might think this is normal NCP parking but my car has received more dents and bumps from this NCP than any other. It might be worth picking a corner space if you like your car. This car park can also be a little tricky to get to if you are new to Reading so you might want to try the northern NCP car park if you are getting the train
This is the first time Im have parked here and it seem just stupidly expensive - at least 3 time the price that I would expect to pay at Basingstoke station and for a worse car park. The spaces are really small for today's cars.
It's a car park Not a particularly nice one. Does smell of piss and costs £12 for up to 4 hours. Lucky for me I can expense this! :o
