Utterly ridiculous car park. How they get away with charging their disgraceful prices - especially late at night when many other Glasgow car parks charge a reduced rate - is beyond me, especially given the state of the car park. It is too narrow for modern cars to easily navigate, the bay markings are very faded, and the stairwell is disgusting - I had to wade through urine to leave the car park. Avoid at all costs, unless like me you find it impossible to get to Jamaica Street car park due to Glasgow's current hatred of cars.
Really bad car park. Not enough spaces. Expensive prices. Hardly any maintenance done. Elevator broken. Stair case smells badly of urine with broken windows.
Very expensive and still have to pay even though I have a dia badge. Cost me £12 for a couple hours.
Very very narrow exit and damaged my car trying to leave getting wedged between both bollards. Do not park here, as also very expensive. £75 for 3 nights!
Worst carpark I have ever used, going up the ramps to higher levels, not much room, very narrow. We were parked for approximately 2hrs and was charged £11.75. Ridiculous, for a Sunday parking and the condition of the carpark, it was stinking!!!!
Tight spaces small stairs lift didn't work and very expensive apart from that fabulous
Awful car park. Hard to locate on Google Maps, tight to park in, and feels unsafe and run down. I moved my car to another car park after just an hour here. Avoid.
Possibly the the most expensive and worst car lark I have ever used….but never again. Firstly the drive up was like trying to manoeuvre upwards in a play park slide. I could barely squeeze round each bend as I got to every level. Additionally the spaces were so small that there were a number unused as some customers parked across two slices. On reaching level 5, I managed to get a space and left my car reversed into it as I would have great difficulty reversing once the space opposite me was filled. On my return I entered the stairwell, accessed only by walking on the down-ramp to the unsecured ‘secure’ entry to be almost bowled over with the smell of urine. The walls were grubbing with sporadic graffiti. Half way up the smell of urine was overpowered by the smell of glue, which I assumed came from someone using the stairwell to sniff glue. On level 5 I was then met by a young man in a hoodie who appeared to be trying doors of vehicles. He the quickly walked past my car and when challenged, he did not reply but simply stood and began spitting over the barrier to the ground below. I got in my vehicle and drove to the ground level where the exit barrier was missing to be chased by an attendant in a yellow jacket who asked me to reverse and put my ticket in otherwise I may face additional charges. What !!!!…. I advised him of the hooded glue sniffer and he thanked me. With a standing charge of £3.95 and £2.95 per hour this is daylight robbery for such a poor experience. I will NEVER BE BACK and would advise everyone else to do likewise. Shocking
This is a car park which allows anybody to enter freely and do who knows what to your car. Also, you will regularly find crazy people on the roof throwing stuff down to passerbys ..so stay well clear of this area. The management of this place doesn't believe in security, good customer service or any service for that matter. If the gate is broken the struggling car driver has to wait for a good couple of hours for someone to answer his call or his prayers. If you decide to park your car here after reading all these reviews then you will probably be a future one star reviewer after the terrible experience your about to have.
Avoid at all cost. Worst car park ever £3.95 per hour. The ramps were too narrow and I damaged my car on final exit
