Mostly everything can be done online nowadays, and that's a good thing as banking in branch is awful. You will stand and wait for what seems like an eternity to do a very simple task like request a print out or deposit some cash when their machine is broken.
This isn't a reflection of nationwide as a bank but of the slow service you receive in branch.

I'm not in a position to comment on the banking, just the noise.
Annoyed that Nat West play music in the branch. (I don't think music has any place in a serious financial institution. I want to be able to hear myself think.) Considered changing to Nationwide. Walked into the branch. Music playing, at twice Nat West's volume. Walked out again.

I have nothing to say but that the staff are great, and very helpful wished I'd have chosen them years ago maybe my money would not have left my account unlike barclays

Moving my account from First Direst to Nationwide.
1. Not informed I would require a Internet pass number.
2 Not informed I would require a card reader.
3 Not informed I would be locked out of my account without the above.
Now having to wait for a further 5 to 7 days until I can access my account.
NOT RECOMMEDED.
