Very interesting setup, as the house is devoid of most of its furnishings the objects that are displayed become the centrepiece. RAF museum fascinating, but you perhaps need a general interest to get the most out of it. Parkland great to enjoy on a walk and a picnic. Great children's play area. We intended to only stay for a morning but spent most of the day here.

Lovely location, car park is close to the entrance. Great walks and scenery, we brought our dog, and was able to let her off the lead over the bridge. I would say that they need to have a few more dog waste bins dotted around the path. Kids had a great time, definitely would recommend a visit.

Croome is just amazing - the grounds are fantastic. Endless acres for children to run around and explore. The house is still being developed but with your imagination it is easy to picture it as it once was. Staff are lovely and friendly too. My boys loved the museum the most.

Another favoured National Trust property with plenty of walking and expansive views. The interior of the house and church are well worth a look. Good food to be had in the large cafeteria and there is a walled garden.

One of the best National Trust parklands I have visited. It is reasonably priced and the walks are pretty. There are good facilities including a cafe & children's playground. It used to be an RAF Base and has an interesting military history which is explained in a museum. This was capability Brown's first project and they have done a great job of restoring it so far.
