This could be a good site with the right staff/owners. We recently stayed there but left early due to the following. On bookng we were referred to Jodie. We found her to be initally hard to contact after frequent message and phone calls to her she did not respond. On arrival at the site she didnt come over to us to make herself known, also she didnt give us a run down of where facilites where eg fresh water supply. The toilet block was clean but no hand washing facilites in situ. The main advantage of the site is its proximity to town. Even this wouldnt tempt us to return or recommend this site. It is not worth £30 a night.
We stayed here last weekend & I must say the location for Upton village & the Malverns & the riverside bars cafes etc is second to none fabulous beautiful. People onsite friendly happy little community very welcoming . The new owners couldn't be more helpful since the massive first class renovation, I would strongly recommend to all.
Very clean, staff happy and willing to help. Small but really well looked after. Be brill when new showers and toilets available. Close to town book early not to be disappointed, definitely go again.
Just arrived home from boye carvan park couldn’t get in for a while as owners away if it was not for Scott and his wife we wouldn’t have got in or a key for the toilet very helpful clean toilets just shame not finished. But very clean friendly town not far for pubs and restaurants we’ll definitely be going back
Stayed 2 nights think they forgot our booking, they squeezed us on. I can see they are trying really hard to improve the site. The shower and toilet block certainly need improving, shower was scalding or freezing. A wash up area would be good. Dissappointed was charged £30.00 per night for an unofficial pitch. But they are lovely people and are certainly doing their best.
Just had a few nights at this site. The new owners are working on the site but making it a nice place to stay, a few things to do yet but looking really good. Great location for visiting the lovely town, just a few minuets walk over the bridge. Re-booked for August and can't wait to go back. Only draw back is the road noise but the locality of the site, out weighs that little problem. Owners are really friendly and happy to help :-
Superb location with very accommodating new owners. After my recent stay I couldn't fault my visit, positioned in a perfect location just a stone throw from the town. The site has recently been refurbished, very welcoming owners and fellow visitors. Would highly recommend & will certainly be returning!
I really can't give any stars, however I had to allocate One star to be able to post this review. This, unfortunately, was the only site in Upton. I visit the yearly Folk festival for the weekend, just for the pub music, not the events, so can't stay of the festival site. The site is convenient, yes, but cold water showers and very poor facilities, for, last year, £18.00 per night for a tent. This man needs to seriously review his business plan. Fortunately, this year, I have found a few more sites within a mile of Upton
Spent the weekend at this lovely well maintained site which is so clean and tidy and extremely well run with friendly people all willing to help people. Nice and quiet and set close to the town and marina easy 5 stars awarded.
I have never written a bad review ever before, however, This is not a great Caravan site. We booked two nights but left 9.00am after the first night. The toilets were dirty! Not only that you had to pay a £5 deposit for the key. It advertises Families Welcome. My question is welcome where!!! We were put next to the toilets! It was £22.00 per night, daylight robbery.glad we only paid for one night to start with Most of the other caravans seemed to stay there, it was like staying in a caravan storage centre. the people walking to the toilets were walking around 3 foot from our front window and you could hear the flushing of the toilets in our van. there was a height restriction so you have to wait for the owner to let you in and out! We got woken up by the regulars talking extremely loudly and at with their dogs 'yapping' at 11:30pm as they stumbled home from the pubs! Our children were scared to go outside of the caravan with the people so close to us for the whole time. It felt like we were trapped!! Please don't go here with children. Sorry to be blunt but I don't want anyone to make the same mistake and to lose £22.00!!!!!
