We chose a beautiful day to visit. There is a combination of garden and/or longer walks from the property as well as a fascinating tour of a house which houses a two story Priest hole and impressive views from the roof which is accessible. Ask to see the Mass cabinet if you like beautifully crafted wooden furniture. There was significant involvement with the gunpowder plot from members of the family. It also gives an insight into the past persecution of Catholics in this country. We had a lovely and interesting day at this National Trust property. Lots for you to discover!

Been here a few times. Always interesting and something ' new ' to learn. The National Trust have made a concerted effort over the last few years to make their properties more family friendly and child inclusive, and have succeeded. Nice to see them all enjoying and learning together. Coughton Court ( pronounce Coat-on) is a special building, with a special family history. Visit, if only for the 'priest' holes. Nice garden, walks and cafe.

Beautiful and interesting House. Room volunteers very knowledgeable. Walks in the grounds by the river, walled garden and rose labrynth so enjoyable. A delicious late lunch and a browse in the second hand book shop and Shop finished the visit to Coughton Court off nicely. Can thoroughly recommend.

Lovely place we visited before 12 to be told there was no more tickets to see the house. Fortunately we were given 2 tickets that someone had returned. Be warned this property was very busy on a warm day. Stunning grounds including a lovely bluebell wood.

Visited on 07/05/2018 which was Bank Holiday Monday. I was charged full price to go round the house and two people with me had NT membership. When we went in to the house we were told we could not go upstairs as we did not have a time entry ticket. We were not told whether we could get one or how we could get one . The implication was that we could not now get one. We could only go round two rooms and it took longer to get off the drive when leaving than to go round the rooms. The queues for the cafes were horrendous . I know it was a bank holiday and a sunny one but this was forecast well in advance. Surely something could be done such as selling cold drinks /ice creams separately? A member of my party had to take their scone back as it was rock hard. The bluebell woods were really lovely but the afternoon was spoiled because we were unable to see most of the house. Luckily I don't live far away. If I had traveled to get there I would have been very angry. We should have been told that we could not see most of the house and offered a reduced rate .
