What a great place! We visited with our little one. The exhibition were fantastic and full of stories and history.nThe farm part is awesome. The tractor ride was fun for the little one. Otherwise, it is about a 10-15minute walk from the museum along a track. There is also a great outdoor play area and we were lucky enough to have good weather so it was well enjoyed!nThe cafe there served huge portions and reasonably priced with highchairs and good changing facilities.
Went here with the family over Easter. Loved it, very educative for my daughter. Also the ride from the building to the farm was smooth. We saw a horse, pigs, and cows. Good learning experience. Wear wellies and take an umbrella along!
Good place for wee one to learn a bit of history in the farm at the older day. After rummaging the museum you can ride the tractor to the farm. But best walk to the farm and then ride the the tractor back.nLots of miniature tools on display. If these are make into souvenir, it can be an interesting attraction.nThe canteen look at bit too small, with not enough table.
A lovely wee morning out with my 18 month old daughter. She's perhaps a bit young yet to take it all in, but the reactor trip up to the working farm was a treat for her.
For £10 for the year, this place is definitely worth a visit, so much history about farming and agriculture, a nice walk about, and all the staff were polite, friendly and very helpful.
