One of those old english stores that sell everything. My wife and daughter love buying shoes and bags here. The restaurant is usually quite enough to always get a table the food is fairly simple but a good place to take a break from the shopping
Fantastic shop. A traditional department store in the heart of Canterbury, that has a huge range of things for sale. The toy department isn't massive, but has an excellent selection of toys for your little one, and thus is my first choice to go before the other more well-known places.
Old fashioned independent department store. Great selection, obviously aimed at the older generation. Padders shoe selection is great. Store itself is worn and needing some care but the staff are lovely.
Such a pity this amazing shop is closing down. We need more shops like Masons not fewer. The kind of shop everyone loves, all under one roof and such unusual things that you don't find easily elsewhere. Great quality. Sorry - very sorry to see it go
Another overpriced, poor quality tired old store kept alive by nostalgia and those willing to pay more than twice the price for low grade products. I was struggling to bring myself to spend £40 in gift vouchers, as there was really nothing worth buying. I didn't realise how irritating it could be to spend gift vouchers. I am all for nostalgia in places that are actually inviting. This is not one of them. I am not local, so maybe there is something I am missing about this place.
Department store. Great little cafe downstairs with low prices and a more expensive restaurant upstairs. Various departments like toys, kitchenware, bedding, shoes, furniture and more. Whittards attached near the Canterbury Tales entrance.
Loved this store but after its long history it Canterbury it has now sadly closed. Goodbye Nasons and thanks for everything. Good luck to all your staff. Sad day.
Nason s have a great report as I shop in there department a lot I also found whittards in nasons which I never new was there fresh tea and coffee n hot chocolate ... toys department home department shoe department furniture and many more besides which a great place to stop for a hot or cold food or drink polite n services with a smile
A huge range of products, great service and reasonable prices. Although the men's wear department is small they always seem to have exactly what I'm looking for.
Very polite staff and large selection of goods well displayed easy viewing of all product's great stock of shoes for each generation
