Reviews
We have been to Nant Ddu before and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The welcome received was fantastic and the hotel is very clean and tidy. It boasts a relaxing spa and swimming pool with jacuzzi which is attached to the hotel and restaurant. The pool was clean and well maintained throughout.
The room was comfortable. We were at the front of the building and even with main road nearby it was surprisingly quiet. The room enjoys TV, large bed and a sofa all of which were clean and modern.
The restaurant attached is easily the cherry on top. Beautifully prepared food and we'll thought out menus ensures a wonderful stay.
The restaurant were aware of our vegan needs and catered for both starters and main courses for us. We had a paella which was flavoursome and expertly served.
Would highly recommend!!

As a pamper day this has gone down somewhat in the past year. I feel the prices have gone up but the standards have gone down. Staff in reception need improving but in the restaurant the staff are really nice. The menu has been reduced in size, fair choice of main courses would have liked a light meal as in a jacket potato and a filling but desserts seem to be those you buy as frozen. would have liked a pudding with custard. Pool needs cleaning, jacuzzi too cold.

Stopped off here for a quick bar lunch. The choice is fairly limited if you are not wanting a £15 cooked lunch. Basically 4 fillings offered in the sandwich/baguettes none particularly inspiring. There was nothing wrong with them just not great. The bar area could also do with a bit of TLC. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Lovely restaraunt. The food is amazing, and I could literally eat it all day. From starters to desserts, it's delicious.
Spa is worth a visit, I have used their package a few times and is really nice for a treat.
Would highly recommend going to both the spa and restaraunt, but wear loose clothing after because you won't stop eating.

A nice spa hotel in the Brecon Beacons. The pool and spa are very good, although having to go through the restaurant to reach it them from some of the rooms is a little strange. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The main downside from our trip would have to be the service in the restaurant. While the food was good, with a range of traditional fare, our table was not ready at the time we booked for. Once we were seated serving staff kept pushing passed rather than walking slightly further around and it was difficult to get attention at certain points. The second night we ate in the bar instead which was a more pleasant experience overall.
Given the relative lack of hotels in the area, it's a solid choice as a pleasant place to drop back to after a long day walking in the Brecons.
