Myself and Mum have been a few times recently. I must say, always a good welcome and great service from Olivia. Lovely girl. Always pleasant and smiling and helpful.nFood has always been juicy and fresh, quick service, never waiting long for our meals.nOur staff employee of the month!
NEVER opens on time. Got there today at 11:30am, doors are locked. Someone comes out to say they'll be 15 minutes as they only just had a delivery, same excuse as always. No apology just irritation that we dared come the time they are actually meant to open! We left it until 12pm then went back over, a worker was coming out and another worker locked the door behind them, ignoring everyone waiting outside. I knocked on the door to ask why they still weren't open and Sam came to the door and said they wouldn't be opening until 12:15pm! I told her thats absolutely not what the other person informed us and that I wouldn't have waited had I known this, 45 minutes wasted, people have places to be! She was so condescending and snarky about it, not caring that customers are waiting around being lied to. All the customers waiting left in the end. This is not the first time this has happened, why not just change the opening time to 12 if they dont want to open at their stated time! Won't be visiting again, will stick to Nantgarw Nandos who always open on time and staff are way more considerate.
Last night the place was so busy there was over half an hour wait for a table, so we ordered a takeaway which only took 15 minutes.nFood was good as always and staff were great
Fresh chicken and the flavour of the chicken wrap was lovely. Service was friendly. Marked down one star as the macho peas were a bit under cooked and the chips needed a bit more cooking time. Other than that a nice lunch, quick and friendly service.nnLocation is great for a cinema/bowling afternoon as it's right in the middle of the VUE cinema and bowling complex.
Missed feelings…nnWe visited the Merthyr branch yesterday and the customer service was soooo welcoming, the lovely young lady with red hair provided such a fantastic service, she’s a credit to Nando’s! Honestly the best customer service we’d received for sometime.nnHowever tonight we ordered a delivery from Merthyr via DELIVEROO, which was incredibly disappointing, the portion sizes were shocking, it would’ve been fine if I was a hamster, but crikey… two fork full worth of chips.. not good! originally without the discount code I used it would’ve cost nearly £40 for two meals…I’ve been left feeling hungry, and disappointed… sad times.
