Best Nando's in Canada. Friendly staff and amazing food. They were checking often but not too overbearing. Chicken wasn't dry, it was juicy and tender. The place was clean and tidy. I wish you were closer to east coast and I'd be a regular. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I'll be back again when I'm in the area.Food: 5/5
It may be personal but I don’t like the taste of the food but my friends who came with me really liked it. The restaurant provides a clean big space which is great for family or big event gatherings. I had chicken liver and 1/4 of peri chicken on rice. I’d recommend you try!
A low-key classy place for a date idea. Quality food, worth the money. Portions could be biggerin my opinion despite, excellent food. Clean place with quality service team. Had some quality chicken in a long time after looking around for so long.
Error in order due to poor communication from the staff. Upon entering we were instructed to sit down and order specifically at the register once we were ready. We would've ordered online but felt we shouldn't given that request; we should have ignored them. Clarifying that we wanted tap water not bottles was even difficult. After much hassle clarifying what we wanted to eat, it turns out it was still done incorrectly. Bone-in versus boneless is an important distinction and should be an easy one too. The correct items of food were still good, but it was frustrating to deal with bones in one of our entrees when that isn't what we wanted.
Date of visit : Sunday, March 24th, 2024 This was our very first time visiting Nando's. We heard of their sauces because they are in grocery stores, but had never been to a restaurant. So, today since we went for a hike nearby, we decided to give Nandos a try for dinner. This is a restaurant where you order and pay for your meal, then they bringnit to your table. The atmosphere is very casual with a south african vibe which is a tip of the hat to the company's origin story. We ordered 2 x 1/2 chickens 1 mango lime, and one lemon &herb We ordered 2 sides each - mac & cheese, coleslaw, sweet potatoes, and cauliflower. The chicken was perfectly cooked...a little char from the grill but moist and tender inside. The sauces were tasty. The mang lime is amazing. The sides were all fantastic. Often sides are not given the attention they should, but here, they do.  The mac & cheese is made with real cheese not cheese sauce and its topped with toasty breadcrumbs. the sweet potatoes are to die for - honey glaze, goat cheese, and pumpkin seeds - yumm. I could make that a full meal. Even lowly coleslaw was given her due. It was seasoned and had a nice pepper bite. It wasnt mushy or gloopy - just crisp and fresh. Prices are very reasonable for this type of restaurant. Ample table seating, clean restaurant, and friendly staff. The kitchen is on full display,  so you can watch them prepare the chicken. They do a brisk take out / delivery business - while we were there less than an hour we must have seen dozens of picks & delivery service orders go out. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. Vegetarian options: Yes
I placed an order for half chicken hot spice with rice and the brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were my favourite!! Idk what that cream sauce was but it was delicious. The pictures don’t do it justice. The chicken was cooked really well, generous portion sizes. I wish there was a little sauce that came with the chicken. I ordered on an app there was no way to ask for sauce. They was barely any on the chicken. So a container of sauce would have been perfect. Would definitely recommend and will be trying it again.
Nando's Peri Peri Chicken was delicious! I have been to a location in the states before that had a few more options for sauces to accompany the chicken, but there were still three great sauces to pick from at this location. For sides, we tried the fries, garlic mashed potatoes and corn. All three were fantastic! Would highly recommend Nando's.
They are a nice place to have something different, feel more home made and savory. The chicken is the must but their sauces are great with everything. They have home made lemonade which is nice and chocolate cake Bruce style. The service is good even when I went and they're almost closing, a few things had ran out but they tried to get what my pregnant wife was craving for free. You have to order at the counter, you pay and then a waitress brings the food to your table. Leave a nice tip, they try their best!
We order from Nandos all the time, but this is completely unacceptable. We paid $8 for a box of cauliflower and they looked like we got a bite full in each. With the price of food at the moment, I would suggest doing better because these are reasons why people won’t come back.
My friends and I went in for food yesterday. The food was good but the service really changed the atmosphere for us. As we were enjoying our meal, in the span of 20 mins, we were asked 3 times if the food was good. Fair enough, not a problem but kind of annoying the third time. However, what absolutely took the cake for my friends and I was when all of us, mid bite, I kid u not, mid bite with half the food remaining, we were asked if we wanted a box to take the food home. Huh, I mean we were still eating the food. As soon as that last interaction we sped up our eating and left. Could not enjoy the meal after that.
