The staff welcomed us and were really friendly. Such a nice welcome. We had to move because we had a wheelchair user in our party and they accommodated this quickly and without fuss. The food was outstanding. We all agreed that the food was something special. 13 of us. Each one will come back. Well done Nags Head Wrexham!! 10 out of 10 !
I never rant on here but I’m going to have to so The Nags Head At Wrexham understand how horrified and upset I was today after my visit. Myself and my 7 1/2 month son went for lunch, I asked if they could heat his lunch up for me which I was told ‘No!’ When I asked why she said ‘well what if we do it too hot?’ I responded ‘every restaurant we take Finley too offers this service, pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds as I understand they have more powerful microwaves than we do at home, I would obviously check the temperature of the food before giving it to my son and if it needed to cool down then I would leave it for a moment’. She still said no! I had to try to use some water to heat his lunch but as most parents know this isn’t the best way and Finley likes his food hot. He wouldn’t eat it, he got upset as it was still cold and was sick. As a parent I was disgusted in the lack of care or understanding given by the member of staff. I had a sachet of fruit that he usually has for his pudding so that’s all he could have for his lunch then. I had already ordered food for myself there, if I had known they didn’t care about my child maybe because he wasn’t eating off their menu I wouldn’t have bothered. I have been attending Nags Head Wrexham for years but I WILL NOT be going back. I urge parents of small children not too either. As stated every restaurant and cafe we have attended and we visit a lot during the week as I am on maternity have been so helpful and understanding, this is why I am so shocked by their attitude today.
First visit since new menu was launched great food sherry trifle cheesecake was lush
6 of us went for a meal here between Christmas and New Year. The manager, Coral, managed to squeeze us in despite it being a bit last minute booking in. We didn’t wait long for our meal, mainly all had steak which was cooked exactly how we liked it thanks to Mike. Will definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend this pub.
We were a table of 6 and every one of us really enjoyed our meal. There was a lovely atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly. It was a lovely time and we will book again soon
Enjoyed a nice meal. When charged £10 for a pint of ale and a 175ml chardonnay, questioned the high price. The barmaid said that the standard chardonnay was not available so I'd been given a more expensive one. I should have been given the option to order an alternative. Went to the cinema and called in for a drink on the way home. Surprised to be told that the towels were on and they'd finished serving - at 9.50pm! What's happened to this once super pub. Has it changed hands?
Service with a smile. A very warm welcome and great atmosphere. The food was lovely, fresh and warm. Had a lovely afternoon for our friend’s birthday. Thank you all at The Nags Head x
Great town centre pub, not been for a while but the food and service was spot on.
Steak and a pint £12.50. Great value and a very nice steak. Old fashioned proper pub. Good atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will be going back.
