Had a quick lunch, chose the place only because there was nothing else open at 1pm in the area, unless you consider McDonald’s as an option which I do not. Service was…well, there wasn’t much of it really. One lady trying to cover 12 lunch tables, an impossible task. Food?.. the best tasting item on my plate was ketchup and mayonnaise. It’s an ok place to eat if you are desperate, but if you have time on hands, I would recommend to go somewhere else.
Great service. Bubbly, lively and every member of staff was helpful. Downside. I paid an extra 3.5 for an 8 oz steak. What I got was a piece of steak the size of a thin chicken nugget. When pointed out, I received another piece of gristle. The chips were a joke. It was a shame as the rest was a nice evening. New chef required.
Last time we arrived here we had a booking that the management ended up messing that up so we had to go somewhere else to eat a year ago. Finally, this time they didn't get it wrong and we were able to go to our family reunion meal out for 10 people. The service was fast for us considering how many people on our table. Food tasted great, I had the Classic Cheeseburger and an Appletiser drink. Polite and funny stuff and they knew what they are doing. The chairs feel comfortable enough too, to sit on for a good few hours. Clean tables. Spacious place with plenty of tables. 3 hours free customer parking, just need type your REG in on their screen once you get into the restaurant entrance.
OMG just had 3 course meal, festival menu. Amazing value for money. This has got to be one of the best Christmas Dinners I've had in years, apart from my mums... Been here a few times and will most definitely return. Staff are so friendly, and very professional. Totally customer focused. I highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Had an enjoyable meal here. Both food and drink were good. Staff were friendly. The only issue was that the main course was served just 5 minutes after my started. I did ask for it to be taken back and kept warm but they were unable to do so as they had closed down the kitchen after preparing my order. Parking: Free for three hours as long as you register your vehicle.
This is one of my favourite places to visit when I am down in London for work, however, depending on the crew that is on the floor the service level seems to drop massively. The landlord and the beautiful lady that works beside him are great people and always helpful, perhaps the staff needs to learn a bit more on customer service skills so the level of service remains consistent.
Very happy with this gem, staff are really friendly and welcoming and go that extra mile to make sure orders are correct - wish I came here every night! Although this review is specifically ordering today’s dinner I can also say the breakfast buffet is amazing been visiting for months now and just can’t beat the value! Chefs are great too! well done brewers but I do not think rationing on the Nutella portions for the past week continental breakfast is very nice, especially with kids half term coming up next week. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly, made sure fussy eaters were kept happy - lovely gentleman asking after them gave me that extra thought after making them happy happy kids = Happy Parents!
If your looking for an easy going place, with a good selection of well priced food, then this is it. In short, most boxes that you would like to tick, can be ticked here in a relaxed atmosphere along with accommodating staff and an adequate menu. On a Sunday they throw in a carvery, which isn't bad at all and served by a very pleasant Chef. More than ample parking, and for those needing it, a hotel next door with easy access to London. They also have electric charging points for those that have conceded to an electric car, and easy access disabled toilet within the restaurant. The system at Brewers Fayre is to order at the bar no table service but have noticed a lot of machines to take orders when busy, but staff few and far between. So you can end up in a long queue. Overall, a good place to visit for both families or those travelling alone. Turned a graffiti ridden corner into a very pleasant site, despite efforts of the Council to ruin it with surrounding tower blocks. Worth a visit. Kid-friendliness: Can only say, plenty of kids but not overrun, clearly happy and contented. A children's menu to suit. Parking: For restaurant not sure about hotel, just register your number plate upon entry for free parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor near entrance. Easy access.
26/11/22 the food was good, but there are a few things about this place that are not so good... First off, when I was there they ONLY had sugar free or diet drinks from what I saw second of all, it took way too long for the food to arrive, when it did arrive it was great I had like 4 brownies and a sundae lol oh and speaking of brownies, one of the ladies randomly accused my mum of stealing a brownie with NO evidence whatsoever. So I was mixed, the food was great and had one of my favorite desserts the brownies and the double chocolate sundae or whatever it's called but the waiting time was not the best, they only had sugar free and diet drinks at least from the machines and the fact that the lady cooking the food accused my mum of stealing a brownie for with no evidence and a stupid accusation. But at least I had my brownies in the end
