These vets are the best , they are warm and friendly and very welcoming. My dogs are relaxed with these vets too .
The vets here are always very informative and the lady I most recently saw was delightful. The vet nurses are also always lovely and seem to remember us each time. The thing I like most, apart from how nice they all are, is that I feel like they really care about treating my animal and not just getting money out of us - which is how I felt about our last vets. It makes a nice change to feel like that as I’ve always felt ripped off by vets I’m the past. A friendly environment where even my dog feels relatively comfortable.
On Thursday I had a previously arranged appointment with the vets on at Anne's square. When I ask about the cost I was told by the reception that it would be in the region of £30 -£35 for the distemper vaccination. I have a mental health condition and  receiving benefits I was never asked if I was in receipt of any benefit. To be told after the animal had received the vaccination I was informed that the cost was going to be £65. Luckily I had the money to pay for it but I am disappointed with the service I received and will not be use the unprofessional and lack of customer service representative at the surgery I have another Ferret that will receive a vaccine in the next month I will not be using your practice anymore either will I recommend you to the over a hundred follows on my social media pages for the Ferrets community in this area. I had a previous Ferret called bandit who u got vaccination and chipped and nail  clipped all for the cost of £80. Although this was four or so years ago. I've enquired to the royal college of vets and I've been informed that the vaccine should have been no more than £47:50 Inc vat. So it's blatant over charge. I'm sorry to complain about this but I was told if the payment was seen to be an overcharge I'd be refunded the difference to my card. But I have had no correspondence from the surgery and I'm still fuming about the lack of communication between the staff at the practice how can the reception not know what you charge for vaccination I gave you plenty of time to correct the issue before I arrived instead I was put on the spot and was made to feel very anxious about the disagreement about the cost when the mistake was clearly there's to correct. I will take every opportunity to post on TripAdvisor and every other forum for Ferrets in the fylde area that this surgery is no longer Ferret friendly vets..
Staff and vet were brilliant. The place it relatively large, bright, airy and clean.
From the very first phone call I was made to feel at ease. My first appointment I arrived in a real fluster so not only was my dog looked after so was I!! They explained step by step the treatment my dog needed and I felt totally confident he would get the best possible care. Friendly, Kind and who I trust 100%.
When I walked through the door they maded me feel welcome they are happy to see you and the dogs , they talk to you if not busy on the phone , when you go into the room for the treatment they are great with the dogs there not anything they won’t do , can’t say much more other than the dogs do t mind going. Maybe as the the reception is so big the only thing I would as I have one dog that does like others could there be a screened of bit other wise she will bark and try and attack she is a pain and hard work sometimes .
Myerscough vets are the best no matter which branch you use. If you are a member you can use any of the vets which is closet to you in an emergency and they also have a top animal hospital that is open 24 hrs a day.
After taking our little dog to them they were very quick to inform us we had to seek urgent attention, they didn't mess around. It saved our dog's life. Thank you.
