"Welcome to mydentist, Southgate, Hessle. Along with the full range of NHS dental services, you'll find a great selection of private and cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening, implants, dentures, cosmetic fillings, acupuncture and facial aesthetics. We have 10 clinicians working in 5 surgeries over 5.5 days a week. The practice is easily reached by car and there is a patient car park to the rear as well as a bus depot in the square around the corner. Highly recommend!! Went last week for first time in years pretty terrified and knowing I needed a tooth out. Walking in the front desk staff are lovely and helpful and my dentist was excellent and he made me feel at ease, going back a week later to have my tooth taken out I wasn't nervous about it. It was done quick and pretty pain free. If you need a dentist don't hesitate.
Excellent emergency service today. Really friendly and professional reception staff, and superb dental treatment as always from Laura, well done everyone.
What a shambles this place is! Just took money for treatment had to pay instalments before treatment event been done. Had appointment booked for treatment and they cancelled both appointments on a day I had to go for my treatment! Discusting... Not even nhs dentist scheme had to pay private. But even under private scheme can't get treatment I need. I rather just go to private dentist and get treatment I need
Removed from the register due to not having gone in a period of time. Seeing as this was because they cancelled my appointment, and then cancelled my rescheduled appointment by text then expecting me to call them to reschedule yet again... Then Covid happened which stopped all regular appointments. To be removed from the register without any communication that it would happen? Ridiculous.
Juring covid I did not need apartment Apperley I was trying to see about getting in not hurd anything I rang then back saying I need to change a phone number It a 5 year waiting list for there stupidity a letter be nice if u could not get hold of me there no I suffer form bad teeth
I called them to ask if they take new patients as I wanted to register with them along with my partner. They responded that I have to wait at least 3-years to register and started telling me their private practice rates. I responded that both mine and my partners teeth are fine and wanted to register for annual polishing, whilst we are willing to wait 3-years. She responded that I have to pay £40 annually per person to register and keep me in the register... Never had a dentisrty that asked me before to pay an annual fee in order to keep me registered! Money-hungry dentist. Avoid like the plague...
Julie and staff at Hessle. I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your help and understanding. I unfortunately lost my temper at an appointment. It’s a complicated situation where I felt pretty helpless. I just wanted to mention how well, and professionally Julie and her staff handled the situation. Waiting 2 months for a private appointment for it to be cancelled less then 18 hours before the appointment, offered an appointment in 3 weeks time, which is useless to me as I will be living at the other end of the country starting a new job I specifically wanted the dental work carried out for.
New to area, needed a dentist as an emergency. Approached them and explained that I really needed to see a dentist as I have a broken tooth that needs sorting urgently. Before I had even finished talking, was told that they have a 4 year waiting list as they are only a small practice and if I went private they could arrange for something in February 2022. Very poor response, a simple we aren't taking any new patients would have sufficed, but I was made to feel belittled and like I was wasting her time.
This is a great practice, professional, efficient and caring. I need an appointment every 3 months for medical reasons and they always make sure I get these appointments. The waiting area is light, clean and airy. The girls on reception are always cheerful and helpful. They provide a great service of a text/ phone call to remind you you have an appointment a few days prior. Best dental practice I've experienced.
