Second time visiting here and both times we've had some amazing food the chicken is out of this world you have gotta try the tandoori chicken wings and any other chicken wing for that matter they are another level! The staff are super helpful and friendly and the shop it's self is immaculately clean and well presented. But the food is 10/10 banging worth every penny and never disappoints!!!
You know that in America many people eat out/buy takeaway every day because the standard is so high and it’s often cheaper than cooking? I give you Upton Chicken Shop. It’s high time that England had a really, really good takeaway and my family, friends and neighbours all believe that Upton Chicken Shop is it. Amazing food, fantastic, friendly service and excellent value. Try the Peri Peri today and try not to become addicted! My mouth waters just writing this! You’ll love it - no need to thank me!
Ordered the food at 15:56. Phoned at 17:15 to ask where food was, advised would be on its way. Takes a 9 minute drive at most to get here. Phoned again at 17:50 asking where it is. Just advised it’s on the road, I said it’s not okay taking nearly 2 hours for 1 delivery and all I got was ‘I don't know how the system works’. Slowest food delivery I’ve ever experienced. On a Thursday. At 4pm.
I ordered food tonight for myself and children. We were really looking forward to it. It did not arrive by the said time slots given. However the app stated itbwas on way. I asked for an update via Just Eat app. I received a notification that food would be late. I also pressed the "ask for some money back thisbwill not cancel your order " tab. The restaurant cancelled my order. Great! I am disabled and ill and now going to bed hungry. The kids are crying and nobody gives a hoot. Never again will I order from here and this was my first order.
I ordered food here twice... I like to give people a chance.. the first order was incorrect late and cold. the second order was 2 hours late when I called and the staff swore at me and put the phone down on me... that was over a year ago... bit I am still annoyed enough to review them now.
I would give no star if possible. It took 2hrs to get the food, I phoned after 1hr and been told thelat the driver is on it's way. Slowest food delivery I’ve ever experienced.
Very unprofessional company very rude lady calling herself the manager but she couldn't manage a p**s up in a brewery I'm actually glad I never received my order now so my money doesn't go to paying such an uneducated unprofessional person who has no idea what she is actually doing..

Myself and my family love the chicken shop! Superb value for money, beats Nandos and KFC. Chips are deliciously cooked and crisp, lovely owners and staff. I will continue to reccomend this place for anything chicken related plus their garlic dip
Food here is ok compared to other places I have tried, definitely nowhere near as good as KFC, which has been mentioned in some reviews. Burgers are average to be honest, filling is minimal, actual chicken in a burger is half of what you would normally expect anywhere else, they need to up their game asap if they want new and repeat customers. Will not be returning anytime soon, sad to say, would also not recommend. Lady at the counter comes across as a little abrupt and rude, think she needs replacing at front of house or desperately needs to sharpen up her customer service skills.
