“A bit too British (traditional)”  I had the roast of the day. It came with 1 roast potato and 3 boiled potatoes (yuck). This ratio must be a British tradition. lol. Would have preferred the reverse ratio (i.e. 3 roast potatoes and one boiled (if any)). Also came with boiled cabbage (another yuck). Fortunately the peas weren't "mushy" (just boiled). Visited May 2017

The best chips in Hanley. Great service. A proper cafe with no pretensions. Been eating here for over 20 years. Value for 💰
