Called to enquire about a car electrical repair- no answer. Resorted to detailing the issue over text only to be ghosted soon after. Wouldn't recommend.

Called on Monday to arrange some work and got no answer, so I texted and explained the problem, and that I needed the work carried out within the week because I needed the car to go on holiday the following week. Charlie texted back saying that he'd be happy to do the work and would call back the following day to confirm when he could do it. After making several missed calls and unanswered texts I decided to take the business elsewhere. He might have some good reviews but I found the customer service to be extremely poor, not only is there still a problem with the car, but I doubt I have enough time now to get it fixed in time for my holiday, very disappointed.

I called Mottec after a breakdown service mechanic was unable to resolve an electrical fault with my car which was undriveable fortunately I was at home.  I received a speedy response and Charlie came to my home the same day at a time when most folks would be clocking off.  The issue was with my stop-start battery and could not be resolved that day but he fitted a standard battery so I could get my children to school and nursery in the morning which was hugely helpful. He returned at the precise time arranged the following day having sourced the required battery at a good price and fully resolved the issue. He was professional, exceptionally thorough, explained things clearly and a nice friendly person too. As a busy working mum who would be lost without a vehicle, it was amazing to have someone so professional come to my home and not have to be towed to a garage. His pricing was clear and very reasonable. I cannot fault the service I received from Mottec. Highly recommended.

Our car wasn't starting and we needed someone who could diagnose and sort the problem. The service we got from Mottec was unsurpassable! After 3.5 hours of diagnostics the problem was sorted. I haven't met any mechanic as tenacious as Charlie Morgan, he even gave up his day off for us and my wife and I are eternally grateful. Best service ever and a 5 star rating isn't anywhere high enough. Your'e the best Charlie, thank you.

Charlie worked on a fault on our motor home and said a new part was needed and to contact him when we had it and he would fit it. We sourced the obsolete part in France and texted Charlie to arrange a date. He texted back saying he was away and to text again in a week but when we did he didn’t reply. We tried phoning and always got the answering machine where we left messages which were never returned. In desperation we phoned with a different phone and Charlie answered sounding flustered when he knew it was us and promised to call back in a few minutes when he had parked up. That was two days ago. We are left with a motor home with a fault and a spare part. Not impressed at all Charlie.

I needed someone to sort out my immobiliser problem and after leaving messages on different mobile auto tech businesses,  Charles was the only one to answer my call. He has the equipment  and above all the experience  and knowledge to sort things out.I am an old school mechanic so modern electrics not my thing but Charles did an excellent job at a good rate. I highly recommend him and I know who to contact if I need a mobile mechanic again.

We had a landcruiser with a faulty immobiliser.  Called Charlie out, and he was able to come at a moments noticed due to a cancellation. He arrived on time, and was able to complete the job to a very high and professional standard and charged a very reasonable rate.  Will use and recommend again. Very happy
