Dismissive and rude. Rolled his eyes at me when I asked him to put his mask over his nose. Explained how the wind works at length as if I were a child, and would not stop talking. Previous person from here dismissed my health concerns and said 'there's no such thing as black mould' - my whole household is now sick. Would not recommend this company.Service: General repairs & maintenance
Bristol and West carried out substantial work for us several months ago and I keep meaning to write a review to warn others. A truly terrible company - avoid at all costs. We received an awful service, shocking workmanship, and they took no responsibility from start to finish. Incredibly unprofessional and particularly rude receptionist who answered everything with a snarl and 'I'll think you'll find that is covered in our T&Cs.' Even when we had to get them back to re do appalling standard of work in my toddlers bedroom she answered with the same helpful comment! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Too many faults to write, but if they challenge the review, as a Quantity Surveyor I will go through and list failures. Should be shut down.
Very plausible company. Just had much of what they did a year ago re-done by someone else. Pleased to say that new work by alternative contractors is immaculate with no trace of damp. Wall left to B & W..... wet and peeling.
B&W surveyed for rot in a property, we paid for a B&W contractor to lift floorboards to check rot further, in the process the he cut a water pipe causing damage. We were then billed £80 for the privilege of calling out an emergency plumber to fix their mistake and were left with water staining which they refused to fix, pointing to their term and conditions!! At least they showed their true colours before we actually contracted the to do any work. A let off for us! Do not use.
Dreadful work, had to have everything redone. Aggressive and rude workmen. Should be shut down. Also, they had a threatening manner shouting and intimidating and denied doing some work which they had definitely done when they were shown how it had failed
Not the same company it used to be... I will never use again
