This Thai restaurant has a minimum spending requirement. The Tom Yum soup is sour without any spiciness, and the portion size is very small. The chicken wings have a strange taste, which makes me feel disgusted.Food: 1/5
Not happy overall. Where do I begin. Starters were ok. Then they got my order wrong. I asked for a duck green curry they brought out red curry. When I asked to change they said there was no green curry left so I ordered pork penang. Then this come out which was supposed to be green. Then they were saying there is no penang. Got attitude from the manager when spoke to her and also they put a service charge on the bill when I get a bad service. Picture below shows what I got in the end not green not Penang not sure what it was and did not taste good. Will not be going there again.
My favorite Thai restaurant in London! My friends and I go every week. The owner is so friendly and accommodating - and caters to vegans! We love the papaya salad, panang curry and pad kee mao. And I dream about their sticky rice, with and without mango. So good!
This is a wonderful little restaurant. I booked a table on the website the night before, and I had instant communication from them. On the night, the girls that waited our table were very attentive and incredibly lovely! We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere this place provides. Will definitely come again!Food: 5/5
Fantastic restaurant to pop into at short notice on a Friday night. We were seeing Goldfrap at the Roundhouse and had over an hour to eat somewhere. We were told that we could only stay for an hour an hour due to how busy they were, which is fair enough. We wwew rushed a little, out the leftover salad from out starters were immediately taken away although the waitress did ask if it was okay. Then the moment we finished our main courses, our plates were taken away and the bill was brought out, within 40 minutes. But overall it was fine. Most of the servers are great and the decor in the restaurant and toilets are exquisite and add to the experience.
Surprisingly not just good, but great! The massuman curry has the richest taste and texture I’ve had. This would be a favorite place to eat if I lived hereFood: 5/5
First time trying this place after a quick search on google for Thai food in the area. I actually selected this place over another Thai restaurant just because of the tasty looking food pics from some previous diners and the clean authentic decor! Quick on the spot decisions! So I am really surprised when reading some of the reviews about the “rude lady” and mediocre food! Mine and my sister’s experience was a very different and pleasant one! We was first approached by a friendly waitress with limited English Bless her!. I enquired about a dish but she had difficulty understanding but another lady came swiftly to assist I assume this is the ‘rude lady’ that a few have mentioned. Assuming she is the owner, she answered my question and told me that the dish I was looking for is not served the same way in the restaurant, but she was very accommodating and added the extra ingredients to my dish an fried egg on top! Easy on the spice! to make it how I wanted it - although this may not have costed her a arm and a leg, it was very nice gesture to offer this complimentary as she didn’t have to. We ordered a starter mixed plate along with a couple of duck dishes with coconut rice which was divine! I tried the Thai ice tea which was made to perfection! Very yummy indeed! Throughout the meal, both waitresses came over to check that we were ok. I would say that the food was fresh, portions generous I couldn’t even finish my main dish and came quickly. We even had a nice chat with the owner lady about Thailand and recommendations on where to travel next! I honestly left the restaurant feeling really catered to and actually said to my sis “The lady is very nice! Food was nice too!” I will be visiting again! Had I read the reviews prior to heading to this restaurant, they might have put me off but I’m glad I didn’t and actually got to experience it myself with a very pleasant outcome!
My wife and I have a long love affair with Thai food, after spending a few months in Thailand. The problem is, it never taste just like there. That is until we stumbled upon this beautiful place. A family business, Honest Thai food, base on the mother’s recipes. Nice people, very welcoming. Attention to detail, and ingredients are as close to Thai as you could possibly find in this part of the world. I would recommend eating at the restaurant, because it’s just so pleasant. Highly recommended.
The food was delicious. However, the quantities leave more to be desired: I therefore recommend ordering a starter e.g. spring rolls, a starch rice/noodles and a protein with sauce e.g. chicken/tofu curry. There were trains running under the restaurant every 5 minutes, which can be mildly annoying, but is out of the restaurant's control. Finally, they don't provide an itemized bill, which we calculated to be off by ~£1 using the menu + 10%. If we're paying a service charge, then I at least expect an itemized bill.
Wow what a little gem. My friend and I were looking for somewhere to eat before a gig at the Roundhouse on Saturday evening. We hadn’t booked but the had a table for us. I had beef Thai green curry and garlic rice. My mate had a pork stir fry-i’m not sure which she had but it looked nice and she ate it all. We had a fancy starter for 2. Good customer service.
