I had the Pad Thai with chicken and the red juice. Very good pad Thai, probably the best i ever had. The juice was also yummy. There are some seats outside. Service was very friendly, i would definitely recommend this place! Food: 5/5
We wanted to try a new Thai restaurant that had a high rating close to our hotel. The food was tasteless besides chile. The curry chicken did not have much chicken. The best was the Tiger beer. We will probable not be back
Went for lunch during my last day in London and got pad Thai. Absolutely delicious and best I’ve had considering I’ve never been to Thailand. Good service and friendly waiters. Only critique is the chicken was a little dry but that seems obsolete.Food: 5/5
Fabulous restaurant and if you’re in the area looking for Asian food I’d highly recommend. The dining area is small with the tables crammed in, so you’ll ideally want to have a reservation, but even without it’s worth the wait. The open kitchen is a delight to watch in action and the effective air-conditioning ensures it isn’t too realistic with an Asian climate! There’s a handful of tables on the pavement outside too. While the service felt a little slow to start with it was redeemed with a really funny and entertaining member of staff who ended up being proactive and professional for the rest of the visit. There’s a fair selection of wines and of course local Thai beers on the menu. There’s the perfect amount of options for food, without the menu getting too confusing. The main dishes were served with huge portion sizes and meant we probably shouldn’t have ordered as many starters to share, but given how tasty everything was there were no regrets! The prawn spring rolls had the perfect amount of filling and the dim sum spot on. We had an amazing evening meal, with the quality of food and staff providing great value for money. I cannot wait to return!
Cosy branch, polite staff and as always, delicious food! We ordered the pork dumplings and hoisin duck spring rolls for a starter, then for the main sweet & sour pork and chicken cashew, both with egg fried rice. Very affordable prices. And a clean venue! Although it’s not my local, I’d happily go back.Food: 5/5
My recent dining experience at this hidden gem left an indelible mark, redefining the essence of gastronomic delight. From the moment we stepped foot inside Ekachai, we were enveloped in a cocoon of hospitality. The staff were so warm, guiding us through the menu with infectious enthusiasm and humour. Ekachai's menu is a testament to the rich tapestry of Southeast Asian cuisine, offering a tantalizing array of dishes bursting with authentic flavors. Choosing a favorite dish proved to be an impossible task, as each offering surpassed our expectations. From the aromatic Thai curries to the fiery squid, every dish was a masterpiece in its own right. Despite the modest prices, the portion sizes are anything but! The value for money is unparalleled. From the impeccable service to the tantalizing flavors, every aspect of our visit surpassed our wildest expectations. Whether you're a seasoned food enthusiast or a curious newcomer, this place promises you leave you yearning for more! Can’t wait to be back again!!! Recommended all the dishes below or in the receipt in the photos : 1. Squid 2. Pork Bao dumplings 3. Duck spring rolls 4. Nasi goreng 5. Beef rendang 6. Sambal prawn curry 7. Salmon curry
Enjoyed the food here. Great authentic flavors that were seasoned just right! Service was efficient and friendly. Look forward to coming back and trying their other dishes next time in the King’s Cross / Coal Drops Yard area. I just saw they have other branches so might stop by one of those too.
We like to visit here at least once a month, but I'd go every week if I lived closer. Ekachi in KC is without question one of the best SE Asian places in London - ALL of London, as it's authentic, super tasty, super friendly, and very reasonably priced for the great portions and freshly made food to order. I can't say more about this place, it's an absolute must visit for those seeking authentic Asian flavour and a welcoming visit.
Absolutely loved my meal at Ekachai! I wasn’t sure if I’d find vegan option but I did and it was amazing! The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is great too. I would recommend making a reservation before showing up. If you’re in the area, you must try this hearty, comforting place. I just wish it wasn’t so cramped in. Otherwise it’s a perfect place for a hot winter meal.
Food is delicious, especially the duck spring rolls for starters, divine. Food arrived quickly, was hot and fresh. Very reasonable prices for central London. I highly recommend if you are in the area.Food: 5/5
