I recently spent £16 here buying various different sweets. But as soon as l got home l wished l hadn't. I bought 6 jelly snakes only to find out it was actually 3 snakes that had each been cut in half not 6, even tho l had paid a set price for each snake! While we were there the shop assistant was rude, pushing past me to straight up things and totally ignored me when l pointed out that 1 item had 3 different prices so which was correct. I wont be going back any time soon to be ripped off
very quiet and nice atmosphere. service was amazing, the server went above and beyond getting two of each of the bonbons for us which was no easy task Dietary restrictions: plenty of sugar-free options
Been in here few times but I totally agree with other reviews. The staff are miserable and rude. They don’t greet you at all . They are very rude and when you go to ask question it like it to much off an effort for them to help. They don’t interact with customers at all. They only want your money. Sometimes I wonder how old those sweets are in the jars and how much off them are out off date. As been few times brought stuff and tasted stale. No wonder you never see the shop busy with the attitude the staff have got. The whole shop needs new staff that are pleasant and happy. The people running it now look like they don’t to be there serving customers. The customer service is more than a 0 pity I couldn’t give them a 0 star. I also seen kids been shouted at in the store when they touching stuff. Well how you suppose to buy with out touching. Who ever in charged please think about changing the staff if you want to keep the shop going I’m surprised it been open this long.
Amazing selection of sweets & great staff. I’m not sure what the previous lady is on about putting down a good local business with her comments. Support local & voice your comments in an email rather than trying to bring down a business reputation. Love you guys x
The best quality and variety pick and mix by a long way, great selection of sweets and stock, we usually visit their shops. They delivered sweets and fudge to our front door during lockdown - fantastic service, really friendly and quick to respond to requests. We even had bags of mr Simms pick and mix as mini favours for everyone at our wedding last year that went down really well. Would recommend.
Had a great time chatting to T. today at the shop plus definitely stocked up on some more sweets!
I attended the Eltham store with my two young children on Sunday the 18th of June 2023. We were greeted by a young lady who had the worst attitude I have ever experienced as a customer. She was outright rude, totally unjustifiable. It was such an unpleasant and chilling experience for both myself and my children, that we will never come back. She refused to identify herself when I asked her for her name, but I am sure the store management can find out from the schedule. Having said that, reading the reviews, I understand that this is not a new problem for rhis store, but I hope the owner takes notice. Eltham is a small community, so if you keep staffing your shop with rude and unpleasant members of staff then your customer base will just go elsewhere.
The sweets are really nice and there is a big variety for vegans, but the person working there is extremely rude. She barely acknowledge us when we entered and seemed like it was a nuisance to serve us. When we asked a question about a product she was upset cause she was counting and we were distracting her. Really terrible customer service.

Been coming here for a while now. Whenever I'm served by either of the lovely lady's who work here, they're always expectionally polite. The customer service here is delightful and the sweets in the jars take me back to my youthful days. I love popping by to pick up all my old time favourites
