Normally buy from Mr rice all the time always nice. Tonight noodle off, king prawn balls double cooked and chips double cooked.  Spare ribs burnt and sweet and sour sauce jus watery and vinegar.  Phoned and they wanted me to return which would mean a forty round trip.  Said they couldn't give refund till they seen the food. When I said we ate some he then said well that's different.  I said I am only phoning to let them know and I was not going to drive forty miles.  He was not willing to hear about the food and the standards.  Sadly will not go back.

When I order a Chinese takeaway,usually a treat now and again I always use Mr Rice. Food would be piping hot, huge portions and very tasty. Ive never had any complaints about their food. Last night, i got pancakes for starters and beef chow mein. Really wish I hadn't. The pancakes were soggy and so greasy. The chow mein had no taste and it wasn't until I had a few forkfuls that I saw it was lying in a puddle of greasy oil on my plate. I definitely won't be ordering from there again

Just had a meal from there. Hands down worse Chinese I've ever eaten   .stodgy over cooked rice. Curry was so thick you could slice it and tasted horrible. The chips were hard and cold . And worse was the lemon chicken sauce was just like they squeezed a lemon on top was that strong and thin . Not pleasant to eat . All the food went in the bin barely touched

Rubbish, the food was cold the salad was hot, the duck  was rock solid, the taste was meh and the lady was asking for £8 delivery on arrival to which I said no, and even the dog didn't want it.  Also delivery driver ran from the door because of having a family dog sitting behind me.

My order never showed up. Phoned the restaurant and was told that the driver came to the house and was ringing the doorbell we don't have a doorbell and that he left it on the doorstep but when I checked it wasn't there. The woman on the phone wasn't helpful and she began fobbing me off. Won't be ordering from them again.

My go-to Chinese takeaway.  Great food, decent portions, good variety.  Recommend.Food: 5/5

I got a mr rice tonight and when I got it it was 15mins late and cold and the guy forgot my juice but did refund me

We called at 5pm ! After 2 phonecalls we got our food cold with condensation in the food I think they forgot it was that long and cold not good!!!‍

Delicious, we are here for a break away and fancied a Chinese for tea. Was delivered quickly and everyone happy with the meal. Chicken and cashew nut was best I’ve had in a long time and my son loved the aromatic crispy duck. Defonrecomend.

Ordered duck and plum sauce, a disgrace. It was a bottle of tomato ketchup with vinegar. We phoned to explain we would take it back as it was disgraceful which the receptionist agreed to. We took it down and the receptionist agreed it was disgusting. An Asian woman came from the kitchen and started shouting at us saying no refund. Turned her back on us, stood shouting in her native language. They then offered a partial refund as one piece of duck had been eaten.  Avoid at all costs!!!!
