"Mr India opened in 8th November of 1999 and was the first Indian restaurant in Loudwater with seating for 36 customers. On that time Wycombe restaurateur MR KAZI decide to start MR INDIA with a very basic idea which is good food and great customer service , regular cooking with fresh ingredients mixed it up by own spices.Although others have since come and gone Mr India has continued to be one of the finest eateries for Indian cuisine. In 2003 the restaurant underwent a total and intricate, fully air conditioned refurbishment offering not only a completely new design and new menu but also seating for 120 guests. I’ve lived local all my life and never been here. first time visiting and it was absolutely wonderful. We were greeted with smiles and a great attitude. All the staff were nice and a few were cracking jokes. Our server Naz was very kind and helpful. He can give good recommendations and checked on us throughout our meal which was nice. The food itself is very well made and very filling; we didn’t need too much between the both of us. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. A restaurant for the locals definitely but are so welcoming to newcomers. I really enjoyed my experience here and do recommend.
Was in the area as we were going to lego land, booked a Premier inn up the road. Recommend booking like we did, was a Saturday evening and it was full. Lamb karahi was really tasty and tender, good size pieces. We also ordered Chicken adraki and a medium chicken curry which were really good. Fresh vegetables in the rice which was nice. Recommend the aubergine bhaji side dish. Service was great and super friendly staff, would definitely return if we're in the area
Enjoyed the Chicken Karahi and the Onion Bhajis. The staff were very polite and attentive. Lovely restaurant
Mr India is the best restaurant in High Wycombe! I have been coming here with family and friends since it opened in 1999 and it never disappoints. The food is so fresh and flavourful and the Rohani dish is exquisite. Go on, treat yourself!
We came to Mr India because we were craving some Indian food. The service was amazing the food was even better! They even accommodated Loki the black cat she’s silly we will definitely be coming back!
