Birthday bowling with the family. Nice and clean. Well organised, staff were helpful and helped when required. Food after the games was tasty, nice and simple and not over priced. Really great night out
There is a lot to see and do here, and kids will enjoy it. When visiting during school holidays, it is recommended that you make your bowling reservation in advance. There is a restaurant inside as well as a restaurant nearby.
Today we celebrate my partner’s birthday at Rochester. My experience was positive but also negative first of all what I didn’t like was V.I.P lane you pay extra but really not understand for what ? The place is so tiny no enough space for 6 people at all. Looks same as standard lane just with ripped leather sofa. Honestly this one should be fixed if they want charge you money for it. It’s say V.I.P but the gamers who was next in the lane was so close we could enjoy them conversation. Waste of money to pay for it. Staff in that store is absolutely amazing , friendly , helpful… really satisfied with them service what was provided today. Good spend time just next time will avoid the V.I.P lane didn’t see much point of it. Really upset as on website showing video and it’s too far from reality :D anyway we spend good evening with my friends only thanks to great customer service
Staff are very welcoming and professional. Our lane was very clean and a good selection of bowling balls. Arcades are always enjoyed by the kids- though the prices for various games have gone up. Womens toilets currently have ongoing work being done so there is only 2 cubicles in use. - the smell in there isn't pleasant. I can not fault the facilities though I do think it is rather pricey. If we were not sent deals we would not visit Hollywood bowl and would probably use our local bowling centre.
Went for a party, sadly they only.managed 1 set as the 2nd game had to finish after 2 bowls as the party food was ready. Could have been timed a bit better. Arcade is good.but they only have one ticket eater that kept breaking down. Child ending up giving up and gave their tickets to someone else and we went home.
My experience was amazing, easy to book and set up your game. Staff was very friendly and helpful, lots of arcade games and good choice on refreshments. Highly recommend
Been a couple of times this month. Staff lovely. Organised . The food was hot . Only downfall was music in food area was too loud you couldn't hear ourselves talking but at least whilst bowling it was lower
FUN FOR EVERYONE!!! I really enjoy bowling and I'd say that Hollywood bowl are the best ones around. They always have a good atmosphere, the staff seem friendly and they have plenty of arcade games and things to play while you wait for a lane. Food and drink can also be ordered to your lane. It can get busy so booking is probably wise.
Went for my son's friends birthday. Staff all really nice. Children had a great time in the arcades too.
Came here for my granddaughters birthday. As it was half term it was very busy. A few of the machines in the arcade were broken but the arcade attendant was very helpful. We had a lane booked for bowling but was not allowed to add another person to the booking. The woman on the booking desk was rude and very short with us. Didn’t know how to smile and had no interest in appearing engaged. It had probably been a long day but even so, don’t work in a front facing position if you don’t like people! When the bowling finished we were immediately ushered off as 2 miserable girls came over to clear the lane ready for the next people. No smile and just had attitudes, not sure why as we were polite and friendly. Ordered soft drinks from the bar and the staff there were friendly and helpful. I would go again but outside of school holidays, hopefully the experience will be friendlier. Still we had a good time, we love bowling!
