The food I had from here was not too bad from here as was a lot cheaper then the other chip shops in the area, will buy from here again
I took out my previous review as the establishment has changed hands and it's now known as the 'Knowle Fish Bar'. Updated the shop front photo, the blue facing shop banner succumbed to the high winds. More variety in the menu though I'll stick to either Plaice or Scampi, small chips and Mushy Peas . Pleasant and helpful staff. Highly recommended, without a doubt!
Excellent fish and chips from Knowle Fish Bar. I stopped off yesterday evening on my way back from work. I will definitely be returning. Great food and friendly staff. 5 stars from me.

Only 3 stars I'm afraid as it took so long for my very simple order to served and the food was average. It's such a shame but it seems this is yet a business that is seeing to its Deliveroo & JustEat orders over It's 'live' customers. A 25 minute wait when there are only 3 customers in the shop is ridiculous. Unfortunately even though I'd like to support this local business this is the second time this has happen so I wont be using them again in a hurry.
HI, PLEASE STOP COMPLAINING THAT THA PRICE'S HAVE GONE UP. THIS IS THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN BRISTOL EVERY IS GOING UP,MY PAINT USED TO BE 2.80, IT IS NOW 3.20 BUT WELL WOTH IT. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IS, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND GET BOG STANDARD FOOD. THIS SHOP IS THE BEST. HELEN KNAPPFood: 5/5

An amazing place to eat and great staff. I have tried there pizza it was amazingly delicious.
Delivered very quick and food was hot as they had to drive at least 5 miles to get here. Will definitely order again
Definitely wouldn't go back. Lady server wasn't keen on cooking 4 sausages at 8pm on a friday, so we just had 2 bags of cold, soggy chips that were probably left over from lunch time. See photo
