Not great quality. Fish was thin, overcooked with thick chewy batter, chips overcooked and greasy. Portion size was ok but at £10 per head expected / hoped for better. First time we have tried this place in a couple or years and unfortunately won’t be going back.
Absolutely lush food as always. Good Fridays is a family run business and a lovely polite family they are. You are always met by polite happy people. I would give more stars if I could.Food: 5/5
The best fish and chips EVER!!! Honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else! The staff and friendly and always go the extra mile. Food is exceptional!
The food here was quite pricey for the quality of food that was received. The cod was severely overcooked and the batter was hard. There was not much fish in the batter it consisted of mainly batter. The chips were very undercooked .As well as this, I ordered curry sauce which I did nor receive was quite disappointed .

The quality here is fantastic and the service is always great, you can tell the staff really care! Would definitely recommend!
We were super hungry and were looking for a good local chippy as we passed through the area and Good Frydays popped up on the map with a high rating. We were certainly not disappointed! We got fish and chips with curry sauce but they had a number of other delicious looking options as well. The service there was fantastic and the food was gorgeous. Whenever we are back in the area, we will certainly be back!
Best chips around! I know there aren't many local round here... But still, there only needs one! Proper chippy chips, excellent batter and a great menu that has enough for everyone's tastes but also isn't too much of a menu that sacrifices quantity over quality. Decent portions, very friendly staff with a warm welcome every time I've popped in. Highly recommended, props to everyone at GFDs!
My food was still a decent temperature once it was delivered and the food was very tasty
