FREE...Hundreds of pounds possibly...with just one online chat then as many follow ups as you feel the need for - we all like to be sure we're making good decisions. I felt secure in the friendly and knowledgeable care of the Flipper team who managed all the 'detail' of my switch and most importantly, kept me in touch with what was happening. One thing I would say to anyone preparing to leave one company for another: Make sure that when your new agreement is confirmed - your Direct Debit to the first company is cancelled. Of course - wait until you've had their refund: I am glad that I switched with Flipper and recommend anyone to contact them as part of an investigation into lowering household prices.
I started using Flipper in November 2016. In that time they have saved me over £600 and have kept me up to date with what is happening in the energy marketplace. My fixed price contract finishes soon, but I am confident that they will continue to get me the very best deal. I have recommended all my friends to check them out, and everyone has been delighted. Do try it for yourself, you have nothing to lose and loads to gain!
We have been with Flipper since July 2016. The first switch went without any problems, however, last year they did not switch us on time. Only after my repeated phone calls and emails they eventually found us a new deal just a day before the existing deal was due to expire. As the average switch takes around 4 weeks to complete this meant that for four weeks we were on standard variable rate, i.e. the most expensive tariff. According to Flipper’s own estimates this costed us extra £60. Initially Flipper refused to reimburse us, then they changed their mind and we were promised a reimbursement once the new contract starts. The reimbursement did not come so we contacted Flipper again after six weeks. At that point we were informed that the person who promised us reimbursement was not qualified to do so ?! . At that stage we started to deal with somebody called Craig, who after looking into our accounts was going to calculate the exact amount of reimbursement. This conversation took place in mid November 2017. Since then Craig stopped returning our phone calls and needless to say we have not been reimbursed. This company promised “peace of mind and hassle free service”, they simply did not deliver on these promises. We can understand that these sorts of things can happen, however, it is the way in which a company deal with these situations that reflect the quality of its customer service.
Flipper has saved me over £450 in 15 months by flipping my dual fuel account twice, and that includes their charge of £25 per annum. Not to be dismissed lightly. My involvement in admin work was minimal. All done by Flipper! If you haven’t tried it yet, go for it, especially if you are with the biggest supplier of energy. You know who I mean!
I have been very impressed with Flipper. They arranged my initial transfer from British Gas to Avro very efficiently keeping me well informed of progress throughout the c 4 week switching process which resulted in significant savings. I was even more impressed when they spotted a further small saving with AVRO 3 months later and again arranged the switch in a seamless fashion. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
Really pleased we decided to use Flipper to switch from our the increasingly expensive joint Electric/Gas supplier. Flipper ensured the switch was smooth and successful. Everyone we contacted or spoke to proved to be so helpful. We have absolutely no regrets whatsoever.
Excellent, efficient service. Joining Flipper has saved us a substantial amount with the added advantage that Flipper do all the work so that getting the very best tariff is completely hassle free. Wholeheartedly recommended.
I've saved a load of money compared to my previous supplier - on average about £25 a month in utility bills. And they look after me and although I haven't been switched to another supplier as I'm already paying the least I possibly can. Recommended to anyone that wants to save £££
Cant fault Flipper so far. It's a no brainer. I'd like the same service on all my bills. but I can't see how it will be sustainable for them long term. Surely eventually they will run out of options. But I can't fault the simplicity and ease of the process. Great for someone like me who can't be arsed with this stuff. even if you sign up for a year you can't lose. Recommended.
I don't have time to waste con sites that compares hundreds of offers for the energy market, and i did like the fee structure of Flipper hence i made the change a year ago. Brilliant. At the beginning i was bit confused on how to operate the website, but i then realised that i was just not following the simple instructions that were give. I have been "flipped" to new suppliers already three times, and all flips gave me better tariffs. The flips happens simply by giving the last meter readings. No less, no more. Again, truly recommended.
