The Movie House is situated in the Jet Centre complex at Riverside Complex which can be accessed from both the Coleraine to Limavady Road and the Coleraine to Kilrea Road. Housing 8 theatres this cinema services a wide area of the North West from Ballymoney to Limavady and shows most of the newly released films. The only downside is that some of them don't run for more than a few dates so unless you want to go three times a week you'll not see them all. They also show subtitled screenings of some films for the deaf and hard of hearing. In addition they run Autism-friendly films where lights are kept up and the volume down. Viewers are free to move around the theatre and there are no adverts or trailers shown. Quite regularly live theatre productions are streamed from the National Theatre and Bristol Old Vic, as well as live concerts such as André Rieu's 2018 Maastricht Concert. This is certainly a venue which would be sadly missed. Reduced priced tickets are sold on Tuesday nights so that is a particularly busy evening with carparking a bit difficult especially if your chosen film is on later than others. My personal bug-bear is the attitude of people who expect to have someone come in to clean all the dropped litter they have left, the huge popcorn buckets, drink containers and sweet wrappers. Thankfully the Movie House employs a team of cleaners to come in after each viewing but in an ideal world they wouldn't be needed. The Jet Centre complex houses mini golf, bowling, arcade games and the Alley Cats Adventure Play area. There is also a popular Chinese restaurant called Yoko. All in all, somewhere to suit all age groups.

Comfortable cinema, polite staff, plenty of choice. Good cinema.
