Last Saturday was the National Cinema Day and Movie House Cinema in Maghera decided to celebrate it with tickets at £3. We couldn't say no! The best part of this particular cinema are the individual recliner sofas that combined with the big screen equals to an incredible experience that's surprising for a cinema as small as this one. On the downside, we ended up buying sweet popcorn but we were disappointed because they tested a bit bland. We wouldn't have minded if they had been more generous with the caramel. But all in all, a great plan for a wet Saturday night!
Always good with full recliner leather seats and nice Sahara nuts
Great big reclining seats. Only 3-4 screens so choice limited. But it's s worth it just for the seats. They also give wee tray if your hands are full. I attended here with kids. I wouldnt go to any other cinema any more. they have raised the bar and unfortunately for me other standard seated cinemas just don't compete anymore.
Great cinema, all VIP seats leather recliners at normal prices. Limited number of seats as a small cinema so booking in advance is advised, but clean screens, and great staff willing to help and sort out any issues be it film related or disturbances. Highly recommended! P.s: Be kind to cinema staff and take your rubbish out to the bin. :
Fabulous, love this place, only down fall which i noiced today. Was the seats i was in were broke and starting to rip. But other than that no faults
Most comfy cinema around! I love that it's small and all the seating in every screen is VIP! I'll be glad when they can stop asking for covid stuff though...there were only two staff on trying to check tickets, check passports and sell popcorn The queue was out the door and down the street!
Saw bumblebee Way to loud !!! And I play guitar for a living my kids had to hold there ears..comfy Seats tho. Also very small screen. I took a db measure avg 71.9 peak at 94.7 even people watching another film marypoppins were kløen out That's the third time we go to moviehouse I'll will write a formal complaint to the company..
Great cinema and VIP all seats
My first cinema outside since COVID hit, disappointed the cinema was far too hot and uncomfortable, felt like heat on full but should have been on cool instead. The chairs are great.
Brilliant place, has great screens and chairs. Customer service is always at it's best but cleaning staff can be a bit cheeky at times. Toilets are acceptable but not to standard. It has a great selection of snacks and drinks though popcorn needs labelled as some people don't know which is which. Keep up the good work!
