A lovely shopping experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was in a hurry, but their service was efficient and speedy. The sale gave me a 20 per cent saving. Can highly recommend for high quality of walking boots and socks too.
Reasonably well stocked store, although I did not find the perfect size hiking boots. I had to buy a pair of Salomon boots that I wasn’t able to compare with a bigger size in store. Now I need to resort to ordering online and returning the less comfortable pair. So, a bit of an inconvenience. The guy who helped me choose and try the boots was very friendly and accommodating. A real asset to the Tunbridge Wells store. The store itself is conveniently located in Central Tunbridge Wells, close to everything else, including the station. I may shop there again but I will be checking availability online as well.
Reasonable range of clothing and shoes. Staff more focused on tills and putting stick out than helping on the shop floor.
No quibble return of item. Very friendly staff.
My partner loves this shop. Wether for his walking boots, trousers or as in this visit a new rucksack. They always seem to have something for him to buy. I would also add the staff are always really helpful and extremely nice.

It's a sports clothing shop, with quite a good range by British standards. It does occasional discounts.
Exellent service.l ordered some walking boots on a Saturday morning and they arrived late afternoon on the Monday.Very happy with the boots as don't normally order footwear/clothing online but they fit perfectly. Very happy and would purchase from Blacks again.
The customer assistant I interacted with was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me by going through all the ranges, explaing everything I would ever need to know. Definately would recommend if you need outdoor gear. Also they do scouts / DofE discounts.
