Had dinner here last night and the food has improved dramatically since the last time we visited last year. Our three course meal was gorgeous and the potion sizes are brilliant. The staff are all lovely and the views are stunning. We will definitely be back again and will also recommend it to anyone who will listen!
Food was beautiful, hubby had the last portion of chicken curry when we visited and said it was beautiful. I had the home made breaded mushrooms as a starter and they were very yummy and opted for the smaller plate option which certainly wasn't small. Food came out quickly but the extra service was a bit lacking. Fantastic view if you have a window seat.
We went for something to Eat and Drink with members of my family down on holiday. The Food we ordered was really nice. The service was also Friendly and Professional. I can't leave a report on the rooms because I didn't even know that they had any. So until next time. Bye for now. Food & drinks: We only went into the Pub Part.
Spotted this place on the way down to Dawlish Warren Beach and wanted to give it a go. A lovely looking pub that proudly shows its charm and history as well as its amazing views from the tables overlooking the beach and funfair. The service was great considering the number of us as well as kids and two dogs and were more than accommodating. Really enjoyed our food as well with lots of options and pretty good value. A lovely place to have a drink or a meal and watch the sun and sea.
Last week we came down to Mount Pleasant inn for breakfast. The lady who was working there was amazing. There was 13 of us that turned up and it was not a problem. I am coeliac and gluten free options where not a problem, they could cater for me and it was no issue at all. There was plenty of food and it was very tasty. The views were just as grand, viewing out to the warren was second to none, thanks for having us!!
I'm pleased to say since I last visited the mount pleasant inn has been taken over by new owners. What a difference the food was exceptional and the staff amazing. Will definitely be going back when next there Nearby activities: The beach shops and amusements are within walking distance about 10 minutes however they are partly up a hill
Had baked brie, with crispy bread and onion chutney to share with my mum and it was so good!! Portion was a really good size and price was very reasonable. Definitely go againService: 5/5
Only visited the restaurant. Ordered the surf and turf, medium rare. Got a well done steak, had it returned and as second attempt received a steak grey on the outside and raw on the inside. Clearly a cold steak that was undercooked and not seared. If you can’t cook a steak then you have no business in a kitchen. It got taken off the bill but I would’ve preferred to get a proper meal.
Excellent location looking out over Dawlish Warren. Not over priced at all and the food was great. Staff are friendly and knew the area well. Food & drinks: Drinks selection is reasonable, only Pepsi Max on tap but that was fine with me. The food was delivered quickly but really well cooked and tasted delicious.
Only went there for a meal. The food and service were excellent. Great views from window tables. Nearby activities: Dawlish warren. Everything for the kids. Food & drinks: Food was amazing.
