So where to begin. Good Friendly staff on first, second and third visit. Quick turn around. Bad Car was faulty, had to fight for them to even look at it, kept getting sent from pillar to post. After refusing the delivery of the car and getting a full refund they have relisted the car with lower mileage than I had left it with and one less owner, the reg is BD19EHY if you want to know. And currently listed as ford Focus 150 titanium automatic blue estate 2019 Issues with the car 1. Engine under full load for more than 3 seconds deactivates a cylinder until you turn it off and on again. 2. Start stop doesn't work, doesn't even appear on the cluster. 3. Had oil contamination. 4.one door seal is hanging down. Looks like motorpoint have just relisted it so buyer beware. Make sure you fully test drive it, do your own HPI check and if you have a fault go into branch, don't phone they never answer and mess you about. Avoid if possible.
Shocking experience. Will NOT be returning EVER. We were left waiting around for over 1 hour on the day we should have collected our new car. When we finally looked at the car. We noticed that both bumpers had been resprayed, the paint work carried out by motorpoint was terrible. The colour didn’t match, rough, patchy and even had tape left on it. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told he was busy with another customer, only to find him chatting with co-workers around his desk. No one was able to tell us why the car had both bumpers sprayed, so NO we didn’t buy the car. Everyone seemed to be busy doing NOTHING, accept for the lady on the front desk who was very apologetic on behalf of her co-workers. However, the team at Motorpoint Coventry are fantastic, so it was definitely worth going to a different site. It is smaller but the whole experience at Coventry was more personal, friendly and welcoming. Please avoid Birmingham and head over to Coventry instead, you won’t be disappointed.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! If I could give a 0 star I would. Saw a Grey 5 door 2008 BMW 1 series on eBay for sale from this place, enquired about a viewing and I specifically told the seller I would be driving nearly 3 hours for this car. The address I was given for the car was not even the garages. Arrived down a dingy road to see the car parked on the side. Called the seller to say we were here, no answer. Texted, no answer. Called a third time and he said he’ll be 2 minutes. Upon looking at the car it had a wheel nut missing on every tyre, a scrap at the back of the car & a few other scratches on the body work that were not mentioned. When looking under the bonnet, the car was dry or oil and water. The seller said the car had been serviced this May, if it had been serviced in May it would not be dry on oil or water unless there is a problem! We mentioned about the wheel nuts and was given the excuse “you can buy them for cheap, it’s safe”. Absolute waste of time! Bit suspicious not allowing us to view the car at the garage and the seller walking round the corner. Perhaps this was so that if something went wrong we couldn’t return!
Disappointing service My appointment was booked for yesterday to pick my car but they canceled it and booked for today as car was not ready, so i went today all the way from london to birmingham but to my suprise car was not ready and i have to waited almost one hour to actually see my car, it came out from incpection and washing and it was not cleaned at all2 there were water marks everywhere and inside was still dirty i ordered synthetic coating in and out with my order but they forgot to do that and now i have to take my car again to there chingford depot after 10 days. There was no represtative there who actually dealt with my paperwork only person actually helped me was the lady working on reception name helen, she looked after me so well she showed me the car and sort out my paperwork and gave me a test ride. i had to signed my paperwork while standing at reception as there is no one to help or look after properly. I am so disappointed.
At first it was the best experience I have ever had buying a car! Prices were reasonable and the sales department were excellent. There is a nice cafe on site which offers complementary drinks for customers. The overall process was straightforward and walked away a few hours later with a new car. Since buying however I have had an issue with car which was reported 3 times and each time I was given less than helpful advice. The last time it was reported I was advised to speak to the dealer who have quoted hundreds pounds to fix the problem. Due to this problem being there when I bought the car, reporting it three times the first time being 4 days after buying and having the extended warranty, I assumed this issue would be covered. Instead I was told no by an extremely rude manager and advised to sort it myself even though the issue was there when I bought the car!
Absolute waste of time. Guy called Anandra tried scamming £150 for a synthetic coating when nothing had been done. Brought a mk8 golf from here all I can say is they a bunch of broke haters in there. Everyone looks the other way. Only thing good was the car. Apart from that, avoid these haters at all cost.
I've been getting my cars from here for years. I've purchased 7 cars so far. Service is always good. Good priced cars. Never feel pressured into anything I didn't want. I've introduced alot of people to motorpoint that they think I get commission but the truth is its just a great place to buy a car. No messing around.
Great people in Birmingham! TAKE YOUR CALCULATOR AND DONT RUSH. making sure you fully understand the figures they give you and your figures. Take your time in selecting the car making sure you love it before signing anything. Apart those 2 points - great company
Nice environment and very quickly checked in for my prearranged appointment at 3pm. Customers are given free coffee and a slice of cake whilst waiting. Was then kept waiting for 45 minutes with no explanation and despite saying that I had been waiting a long time, nothing was resolved before I was actually walking out the door. At this point a manager was found and the car test driven at 4pm. They had experienced delays with their computer systems which had a backlog. Better communication with customers required. The vehicle purchased appears very reasonably priced and of good quality as you'd expect for a year old car.
We bought a newer car from the Birmingham branch and it is very clean and tidy ,the staff are well dressed,polite and helpful and they are not to pushy they allowed you to look round the cars without you being hassled and forced into buying something you didn't want, when you found the choice you wanted you were allowed to test drive them and we had a choice of 2 ,and also are car we selected we had it a week later as it needed to be valeted and washed and also needed a protection coating put on it ,I would highly recommend motorpoint at Birmingham as they are such a good company and will be goung back there in years to come
